A5-We suggest travelling with friends & ensuring no digital devices are used. First tech-free trip are quite difficult as there is no access to social media. A little tough love goes a long way; otherwise, we would have missed the incredible Aurora Borealis in Patagonia!

Tips:
- Strike a balance if you can't ween off gadgets and social media. A reminder to myself!
- Bring a book to read, a notebook to draw/scribble/paint/write travel memories

A5 Loosing your phone abroad is trying, so back up to the cloud, take a spare phone that you can use with a local pay as you go sim card to save on data costs. If you loose the cheap phone on your travels its not so bad #ttot
