Q3 via @SonjaSwissLife: For past travel planning, did you usually like to go last minute or did you like to plan rigorously far in advance? #TTOT

replying to @TravelDudes @TravelDudes @SonjaSwissLife A3: Remember not every country has the luxury of travelling internationally last minute. What other countries take for granted is filled with a lot of red tape making last minute travel virtually impossible. #TTOT

A3 I like to plan in advance so I can read up on history/towns/make my lists of points of interest. I've also only booked trips within a year. Can't think that far ahead! #TTOT

A3 I always plan rigorously, a long time in advance. This ensures that the places I want to stay are available and usually cheaper (as are transport prices). Plus it means I have longer to look forward to a trip #TTOT

A3: I never know if I'll ever get back to a place again, so I try see as much as possible while I'm there. So usually I do a rigorous plan but I leave space in my plan for wandering and random adventures as well. #ttot

A3 That's good timing & most airlines/trains/buses even hotels don't have their inventory available for more than about 9-10 months latest. So you're right on time! #ttot https://t.co/omtJYjp5JG

A3. I usually like to plan with some details as much as possible because there are specific destinations that I want to go for my #travel photography. Nevertheless, I have some flexibility in case of bad weather or an inspiration to check out other places.

A3 I would love to plan my travel in more detail so I can learn more about my destination beforehand & I always have good intentions but oftentimes, I’m booking the hotel while getting dressed on the way to the station or airport. #TTOT Image @pixabay

A3: I usually plan ahead because I like to travel to places at their optimal time. Whether it's for a festival or season, I might as well make the most of it. Also, everywhere's a long way away from Aus, so hard to do last minute unless it's Bali #ttot

A3 So true. I do not plan to leave the borders of the country in which I'm in as I may never get out of another one or get back into this one. This has happened to many people when countries imposed restrictions at different times. #ttot https://t.co/I5Tsb0x0IL

A3. I prefer to plan as little as possible and preferablynot a long way ahead but 'as little as possible' can be a lot & somethings have to be planned ahead. At the moment though, with so much uncertainty', planning is a waste of time but maybe good for the soul! #ttot
