A train pulled into the station on the platford at the time our train was due ... but actually the train was running late. It was only 30 mins later when our tickets were checked that we realised the problem...#TTOT

@SonjaSwissLife It was quite an experience. since then I tripple check every date when I book something & still I get it wrong sometimes.
And on that missed flight we drove to Croatia instead, which was not a good trip, as Bali was still in our mind. #ttot

replying to @TravelDudes @TravelDudes Well, all you can say is that you went 'somhwhere' but not Bali sadly. I've had reservations booked out 8 months in advance and when I get closer, I see that my flights had been changed many times & was never notified. Thanks for the memories UAL #ttot

A4: In Patagonia, I was using an ATM and forgot to take my card out, which the machine promptly ate. It was a w/e & we were due to fly out the next day so couldn't do anything. Fortunately, my friend lent me money. until an ATM ate his card a few weeks later, lol #ttot

I also felt asleep on trains twice, waking up in the middle of the night and the light was turned off in the train already.
I got off and luckily saw the Cologne cathedral in the far distance, so that it was more or less where I wanted to get to.

@wheresshellyii When I started traveling the world I always made sure that I have 2-3 different paying options like cash, credit card & traveler checks. Nowadays I just take my wallet & phone.

I've noticed that the pilots or flight crew make a point to declare the flt destination. ...& with all that automation available! #TTOT
