replying to @StuartMHurlbut @StuartMHurlbut @TravelDudes I had a 2nd card but couldn't withdraw cash on it and most places wouldn't accept it as they had a terrible banking system over there for travellers back then. Fortunately, my friend's bank couriered him a new card in a few days so we survived! #ttot

The Cologne cathedral was actually never rebuilt. The English bombers didn't want to hit it, as they used it as a landmark to see where to drop all the other bombs. Only one bomb hit it by mistake. #ttot

replying to @TravelDudes @TravelDudes No, I had to call them because they had even cancelled flights w/-no back up leaving me somewhere with no connection booked. Once I had to change the dates. I got this fixed before I left. but then what happens in reality once flying is never the same anyway. #TTOT
