A1: That depends. 😉

One option is to ignore it, if nobody else realized it. There are simply too many blunders to take care of otherwise. 🙂

But it's better just to take it with humor, as you don't do it purpose, right? #TTOT https://t.co/hAYU24s4fH

replying to @SonjaSwissLife @SonjaSwissLife @digitalGeek_au A1: Booked a separate ticket to Hong Kong then another to Thailand for the same day. Hong Kong flight was delayed so we missed our Thailand flight (who only flew once a day!). No one even there to help by the time we landed. Never doing two separate tickets again #TTOT

replying to @Expat_in_Europa @Expat_in_Europa @SonjaSwissLife @digitalGeek_au Oh no. Yes, that happens quite often and there are too many people who do this. You always have to book the flight in one ticket, as then the airline has to take care of missed connections.
So you had to book a complete new & expensive one? #ttot

A2 - my other half left his backpack (with wallet, money and passports in) on the Heathrow transfer train. Thankfully we got it back within half hour thanks to the brill staff, but I was sooo stressed for the 20 mins I sat there waiting for him to go retrieve it! #ttot

A1 This is a good blunder to share as many passengers don't understand it. Even 2 separate tickets on the same airline will not help if there's a delay or luggage issue. No protection. No luggage interlining. Thanks @ExpatinEurope1 #TTOT https://t.co/QjUXn3sR2x

A2 My hiking partner went down the wrong side of a mountain. I contacted all cable car operators who looked for her & they contacted all village sports stores. Fortunately, that slope led to the main road & she arrived in a sports store a couple hours later. Very relieved. #TTOT

replying to @SonjaSwissLife @SonjaSwissLife You can be lucky that this happened in Europe. :-) Taking the wrong way somewhere else, can get far worse, but in Europe you usually find a road quite soon, right? #ttot

A3: I booked flights to Bali on the phone & didn't get the confirmation right away. Later I didn't check good enough.

When I wanted to print out the tickets 2 days before departure, I realized that the flight was gone 4 hours earlier.
I still haven't been to Bali so far.

replying to @TravelDudes @TravelDudes we’d got off at T5, and the train was heading back to T4 when we clicked we were a bag short. Walked straight to a member of staff who radioed someone at T4, they checked the train when it arrived, held the bag for us until my OH arrived. Couldn’t have gone smoother! #ttot

A3 While talking to an old friend at Geneva train station, I boarded my Lausanne train at the right quay. It started moving 8 min. early & I KNEW THEN I was on the wrong train. It was for Yverdon (north) I had a rendez-vous at Lausanne (east). I was 3 hours late #ttot @pixabay

A3 Always timetables. Missed a local work flight because I lined up at the wrong gate in the wrong terminal- only found out when my ticket was scanned at the gate. Missed a train in Poland because I had the wrong departure time in my head. #ttot
