Q1 via @digitalGeek_au:

How do you cope when you realise you’ve committed a travel blunder? #TTOT

A1 Focus on solutions #ttot

A1: That depends. 😉

One option is to ignore it, if nobody else realized it. There are simply too many blunders to take care of otherwise. 🙂

But it's better just to take it with humor, as you don't do it purpose, right? #TTOT https://t.co/hAYU24s4fH

A1 How to cope with travel blunders: accept them, blame no one, apologize, find a possible solution. In advance: think through the trip itinerary with a plan B for major movements. #TTOT Image @pixabay

replying to @SonjaSwissLife @SonjaSwissLife @digitalGeek_au A1: Booked a separate ticket to Hong Kong then another to Thailand for the same day. Hong Kong flight was delayed so we missed our Thailand flight (who only flew once a day!). No one even there to help by the time we landed. Never doing two separate tickets again #TTOT

A1 This is a good blunder to share as many passengers don't understand it. Even 2 separate tickets on the same airline will not help if there's a delay or luggage issue. No protection. No luggage interlining. Thanks @ExpatinEurope1 #TTOT https://t.co/QjUXn3sR2x

replying to @SonjaSwissLife @SonjaSwissLife @digitalGeek_au A1 Stay calm. We got on the wrong train in Cologne. A train pulled into the station on the platford at the time our train was due ... but actually the train was running late. It was only 30 mins later when our tickets were checked that we realised the problem...#TTOT

A1 Welcome to the club, Stuart! That has happened to me in Austria- not my fault & Switzerland - MY fault! #TTOT https://t.co/eN4nYUGZvi

replying to @SonjaSwissLife @SonjaSwissLife @digitalGeek_au A1 Calmly, and with as much humour as you can muster at the time (the last bit isn't always easy!) Everyone makes mistakes though and most of the time they aren't the end of the world. #ttot
