A4. The best education experience I had at an eco resort would be the elephant sanctuary in Chiang Mai, Thailand. From how they take care of young elephants to caring for the older ones.

Eco/ sustainable tourism is a minuscule percentage of travel & tourism as a whole - for every eco resort you usually have a dozen large-scale Resorts around it.
As for a destination, probably the Spanish/ Italian coastal destinations.

A5: Many hotels could make an easy eco-change. While lots are removing toiletries in plastic bottles, the vast majority we’ve visited (for work and leisure) have offered complimentary #singleuseplastic bottled water for guests. That needs to stop. All these rooms have taps. #TTOT

@aTravelCompanio @DoroLef Coca Cola might recycle and try to appear sustainable, but they often are using the ground water, make coke out of it and then sell it expensively to local people (who now have less water). Obesity and how unhealthy it is, is also a factor to keep in mind.

replying to @hendrikmorkel @hendrikmorkel Arg, yes. Starbucks is a franchise corporation, who now cooperates with Nestle. Franchises destroy diversity. Same goes for the likes of Costa Coffee (owned by Coca Cola), Pret a Manger or Krispy Kreme (owned by JAB Holding). #ttot
