A1: More contactless card payment where available, but much of our travel is pre-booked/paid anyway. If it’s genuinely “post-pandemic” don’t see too many changes being necessary. Maybe a larger qty of lower denomination cash & not requiring change. #TTOT

A1 Post-Pandemic #travel. #Contactless use of credit cards is preferred (safer than swiping). Sometimes only for small amounts. Higher amounts need insert/swipe the card & pin. Take more than 1 credit card. Some automated kiosks or shops don’t take cash. Mobile payments #TTOT

A4: When we’ve taken any ‘larger’ cash currency amounts out prior to travel, we’ve split it between the family to carry, and just called it in as needed. Should add that it’s never been such a large amount that family members were missing in the morning. #TTOT

I budget carefully and don't get too much...obviously a few places are not in the international banking system. Then I don't carry the money all in one place...#TTOT

A5 Use loyalty points earning credit cards. Verify that your credit cards or mobile pay are set up for the country. In Europe use bank ATMs, not commercial kiosks- higher fees. Get VAT receipts for refunds at the end. Ask small shops for a discount for paying cash. Bargain. #TTOT
