Keeping Safe Whilst Continuing to Travel
TTOT

Q2 via @TravelDudes: What pre-trip preparations do you do to help ensure your safety whilst travelling? #TTOT

A2: For new destinations in general, lots of online research across a whole range of potential risks (health, environmental, geographical, political), e.g. CDC Yellow Book (global heath), NOAA (for hurricanes), international news reports, etc, etc.

A2: I check Global Affairs Canada & World Factbook for travel advisories. Also, thanks to the internet, we can now check local media outlets for news that the MSM does not cover. #TTOT https://t.co/waJmeGf4IR

A2 Check all governments’ requirements including transit countries. Daily check of Hot Spot Report (via email) for all security or health issues around the world. Secure financial arrangements. #TTOT

A2: we might be able to travel to regional areas soon. Prep will include making sure we have masks packed, probably pack a spray cleaner for surfaces. We always have sanitiser anyway. And look at accomodation styles to ensure we can have some private outdoor space. #ttot https://t.co/4miRYpKUGG
