A4: “Journey to the Centre of the Earth” was set at the Snæfellsjökull stratovolcano in western Iceland. Scenes from “The Secret Life of Walter Mitty” were also filmed in the Snæfellsnes peninsula. It’s well worth the drive out their regardless.
