Q5 via @tangenghui: Coronavirus has crippled our beloved world travel, tourism, hospitality, aviation. Beyond the negatives, what positives and changes can the world travel and tourism industry embark on in a post covid world? #TTOT

A5: I hope places/companies will continue to offer more virtual options in the future. Not everybody can afford to travel to Africa for a safari, but they may appreciate the opportunity to participate virtually. #TTOT

A5
People are actually thinking about travelling more responsible and I hope that:
#Sustainable tourism may prosper amid coronavirus crisis

A5 #COVID19 creates awareness of social & environmental dangers that must be managed. We must interact with our world differently & with #travel in particular. Opportunities abound in developing sustainability & focusing on respecting ecological & social environments. #TTOT

A5 Less crowded sites and more pre-booking of activites and attractions. Hopefully a push or more incentives for local run businesses to be supported or booked. Slower travel in one country rather than many countries in a short space of time #ttot

A5. Moving forward in a post #Covid19 world, I hope to see
- less mass tourism and its impacts on destinations
- greater appreciation for #travel, #tourism, #aviation and #hospitality industries
- eco-friendly and less wastage on resources

A5 Well said, @StevenOnTheMove We could easily find examples where it hasn't happened & the consequences are dire. Think of Melbourne & other parts of Australia - strict quarantines & lockdowns & they reached 0 new cases at one point. They suffered but many are alive. #TTOT https://t.co/OouZkDFXCF

Slow travel, local travel, and RVs are likely to continue to boom for another year or so, as people ease back into travelling. #TTOT

A5: Either nothing changes or it radically changes. If travelers start demanding certain things, I feel the travel industry, airlines in particular, need to listen as they're no longer in the position to be making the rules. #ttot

A5: There is the huge opportunity to tackle now the far bigger crisis. Global Warming / Climate Change
But we also had a huge opportunity to get rid of the sick finance system 2008/09 and this didn't happen. #TTOT https://t.co/qUXxjsRhXu

A5 I wish people would understand the need for inclusion. This crisis has shown we are all in this together. We need more togetherness and less tribalism. #ttot
