A1: COVID-19 conditions are a mixed bag for me as an American in Japan. Despite cases rising, Japan doesn't seem to be preparing for Lockdown 2.0. As an American with certain obligations, some of my travel is limited (Tokyo is off limits). However, I can travel elsewhere. #TTOT

Schools are open but not like they normally are, but pubs, gyms and non essential shops are shut. Scotland has pretty much closed it's border with England allowing only essential travel from England #ttot

A2 Of course a vaccine for #Covid19 would change the prospects of future travel & much more! Depending on where we live & our desired destination, we need to consider the time it takes for the world to get the vaccine. Safe guidelines will still be in effect until then. #TTOT

replying to @TravelDudes @TravelDudes Japan just eclipsed 2,000 deaths due to COVID this week. So it seems that healthcare system is doing OK. Tokyo has been off limits since April because of its notably higher cases compared with other areas (e.g. Osaka). #TTOT
