replying to @Delinah_Mijide @Delinah_Mijide @TravelDudes Same everywhere I guess. Some people ;-) #ttot
replying to @TravelDudes @TravelDudes @tangenghui A2 I question them highly. First one came out 90% effective. Days later, another company states theirs is 93% effective. First one then comes back with 95%. Now a 3rd company comes into play. All within days of each other? #TTOT
replying to @Travelnpack @Travelnpack I wonder if they will come up with specific restrictions for Christmas itself, but I doubt it. And I hope that they won't allow Christmas parties with colleagues. I see a risk in those. #ttot
#TTOT A1 It makes me sad also as there are innocent people trying so hard to avoid contagion. #TTOT https://t.co/hq6mFmalbt
replying to @SonjaSwissLife @SonjaSwissLife I appreciate it Sonja. I do everything within my ability to be safe. #TTOT
replying to @aTravelCompanio @aTravelCompanio Are the numbers going down as a result of the restrictions? #ttot
A1 So very glad to hear that there's not a great rise in Singapore. With the vaccines it will be easier to eradicate. Good info that you have on a daily basis. #TTOT https://t.co/UabCTlW2q8
A2. I am cautious yet optimistic at the same time when I read positive news on a vaccine for #Covid19. The future implications and effects from the vaccine are yet to be fully known.
On the other hand, the vaccine would help the world on the route to recovery.
#TTOT
replying to @ChasingRonin @ChasingRonin Whoop. So cool. Can you guys live a ‘normal’ life or are there restrictions in place? #ttot
A2: AWESOME 🥳
I'm not that much into vaccines, but this is now what's needed, though it will take a few months until most folks will get it.
This will show people the end of this crisis & even if there should be a 3rd wave coming, it's doable then. #TTOT https://t.co/FrQgIN1g2o
replying to @StevenOnTheMove @StevenOnTheMove @SonjaSwissLife Same here. People say I should be able to this or that because where I live, but not that clear cut #TTOT
replying to @TravelDudes @TravelDudes @tangenghui A2 It's certainly a step in the right direction and hopefully restrictions will ease as more people are vaccinated but I think it may be some time before people feel confident about mixing and travelling. Maybe things will never be quite the same again? #ttot
A1 Interesting. Thanks. Schools but no pubs must not be popular with some. Is there a border control with Scotland? #TTOT https://t.co/XSZE7WeT4w
replying to @StevenOnTheMove @StevenOnTheMove @SonjaSwissLife I guess the social pressure to follow the guidelines is far stronger in Japan than in Europe. Here are so many folks on the streets demonstrating. #ttot
Q3 via @PureTraveller: Is there a risk that the focus on coronavirus will distract travellers from protection against other diseases, or will it make people more aware of travel health concerns? #TTOT

Q2 via @tangenghui:
There has been positive news on a vaccine for Covid-19 recently. What are your thoughts? #TTOT
A3. I think people will remain cautious:
Experts Say It Could Be 18 to 24 Months Before Travel Picks Back Up;
Many people are not going to feel safe going back to crowded airplanes.
https://t.co/UU6XpRbOvP #TTOT
A1 You're wise to look at it like that. Every single person has a complex situation & only that person knows what is best in the world of confusion. #TTOT https://t.co/aaUlTEYLar
A2: I feel like the vaccine is being rushed and proper testing overlooked, but I can understand the rush. I'm also concerned countries will require the vaccine to travel, and the vaccines long term effects aren't known. #ttot
replying to @Travelnpack
@Travelnpack @TravelDudes A good point! It’s fair for us to be cautious too with all those news! I reckon some of those companies are “rushing” to be the first vaccine to be out for the whole world.

replying to @DoroLef @DoroLef @Delinah_Mijide Curfew at 10 pm reminds me of the UK with their 10 pm curfew. The pubs close there anyway at 11 pm. WTF? Will that 1 hour make the difference, where the virus will say. "Oh. now it's past 10, so I can get active..." #ttot

Q1 via @TravelDudes: Share your current Covid19 status/conditions! Include the country you are in. #TTOT
replying to @aTravelCompanio @aTravelCompanio I hope so :-) The ‘lockdown’ in Germany seems to be a succes. Beginning of November there were about 24,000 new cases/day. Now down to 10,800. Same in France. They had like 60,000/day and are now down to about 10,000. (Numbers I remember). Crossing fingers for the vaccine. #ttot
replying to @StevenOnTheMove @StevenOnTheMove I do also. I have my obligations also. Everyone has some different needs & obligations. I wish more people would realize that & stop fighting about it. #TTOT

@SonjaSwissLife We still must play our part, be safe, wear a mask, social distancing and avoid mass crowding. We cannot be complacent even though we are feeling jaded from this whole situation!

A3: Pre-COVID-19 there was a always a notable % of UK travellers who failed to visit a #travelhealth practice prior to overseas travel… education and public information about travel needs to improve.

replying to @aTravelCompanio
@aTravelCompanio No, this won't accomplice to murder, as the ones who want to take it, can take it, right? 😉
Here in Germany we have around 70% of the population who would take the vaccine. That is enough to create the "herd immunity". #ttot
replying to @TravelDudes @TravelDudes @Delinah_Mijide I reckon the curfew is about people won’t get too drunk. #ttot

A1 You have pinpointed a big problem now the 'COVID fatigue'. It's when we start to be lax & make mistakes. #TTOT https://t.co/t719Kiscco
A3 #COVID19 is distracting #travellers from other health issues as well as from pleasure. I think it has created a greater awareness of hygiene & health that motivates travellers to demand that #travel suppliers become more vigilant in their offers. #TTOT

replying to @aTravelCompanio @aTravelCompanio It is down to each individual and how much each one of us cares about the wellbeing of others. #ttot
replying to @SonjaSwissLife
@SonjaSwissLife There's no border control but that's the latest from the Scottish government. They don't want Scots to travel into England either unless it's for essential business.
And it's not just no pubs, no theatre or live music, no meeting friends.
#ttot
replying to @DoroLef @DoroLef I'm general I'd say things are back to normal in Tasmania. No one is wearing masks or social distancing, but obviously restrictions are still in place for people coming in or out. Being an isolated, sparsely populated island helps. #ttot
