Q4 via @SonjaSwissLife: Have you ever celebrated December Holidays that were not in line with your traditional celebrations? Another religion? Another culture? If so, what were the differences in the celebratory practices from your own? #TTOT

A4: Haha, I just answered this in the previous question about an ideal holiday. Kentucky for Christmas (so far) has been my favorite Japanese tradition. However, Hatsumōde is also really great. #TTOT

replying to @TravelDudes @TravelDudes @SonjaSwissLife A4: I celebrated Christmas with a deeply Christian family once -it was a very different experience than I was used to.They probably got sick of me asking about the significance of things & what Jesus had to do with wine etc. My husband did religious studies, so am learning! #TTOT

A4. In the past I didn't enjoy the holidays at all. But in the last two, three years, I have grown fond of the time between the years, with good food, relaxing, doing nothing much except things I enjoy doing, only with our family.

replying to @HHLifestyleTrav @HHLifestyleTrav @TravelDudes A4 I can see with your questions about wine that it's a long story to tell from the birth of Jesus. I did some religious college classes to learn a little about most all of them. Very useful for travel. #TTOT

A4 Rules are handed down. There are US families that open everything the night before. Our family was allowed to open ONE gift the night before then about 5 AM we'd run down the stairs past my sleeping parents to tear apart the rest of the packages. #TTOT https://t.co/htxJRBxHZI
