A2. Probably travelling with my family last year via train through #Germany. It was nice to see the landscape go by, and the kids had a good time - and it was environmentally friendly and really time-efficient!

replying to @aTravelCompanio @aTravelCompanio @tangenghui I think that 'waiting times' for trains varies a lot by countries. Late in the US, Fairly well on time in Portugal & Precisely on time in Switzerland & Germany - loads of examples around the world. 'Waiting' can also be part of the experience #TTOT

A1: I love to watch the countryside.
Train tracks show the diversity of a destination. Sometimes it's parallel to a road or river, it goes through cities and sometimes it's in nature.

A2: I have a lot of train travel memories, but one of the bests was exploring Central Europe with my wife on our one-year anniversary trip. #TTOT

You always have to be vigilant on public transportation no matter where you are & you have to find ways to avoid it. It even happens in Switzerland - more so at stations where people are distracted. Sad but true part of ALL travel even on flights #TTOT https://t.co/fhUvWM9xrg
