For me, getting from A to B is an important part of the travel experience. Yes, the destination can also be amazing, but just getting there is a big part of travel too.
And trains travel at a speed that you can actually see the world from.

replying to @aTravelCompanio @aTravelCompanio Really, distraction can be extreme & when distraction is played to sympathetic passengers the theft is quick & organized. For the most part, it's safe at the station. But there is theft everywhere. I knew these victims & other smaller incidences #TTOT

I also would make flying short distances really expensive, and raise taxes on gasoline for cars, and make parking expensive and away from the city so people need to still use a bus or metro to get to the town.
