In Australia a lot of backpacker buy very cheap & old cars. They save any dollar with those, but then make sure to have enough 💰for beer.

A2 Interesting about buying old cars to travel around in Australia. There was a time popular with Americans to buy a good car in Europe, travel around and then ship it home after the trip. I think exchange rates & costs of shipping plus paperwork ended most of that. #TTOT https://t.co/zX241Kalct

@tangenghui @SonjaSwissLife A2 If rental, watch the fuel level, put the emergency number into your phone and keep phone charged. If your own car and a long trip, give it a big checkup before you go, check oil, tyres, wipers, lights etc.
