Q12: Homeward bound: Have you ever tried to recreate a vacation meal or atmosphere when you're back on your home turf? How did it go? #TWchats

A12: Yes, definitely! Italy really inspired to make fresher meals. I made Bruschetta often for my family when I returned. They absolutely loved it. An Italian showed me how to make it. Broil fresh Tuscan bread, grape tomatoes, and basil. Add salt, pepper.-jk #TWChats

A12 Yes, recreated this amazing ceviche from our class @marriottpv in #PuertoVallarta - it was delicious and so easy! ! #TWChats

A12: @twtravelnews Costa followers, have you tried recreating a meal you loved from your Costa #cruise? Tell us which dish you made and if it was a success. Don't forget to add a photo! #TWchats

@TWtravelnews A12: I tried recreating Salmorejo from #Seville. It was tough and was too acidic. Would much rather go back to #Spain with Tzell to eat it again!

A12: Our guests love to recreate the dishes they've had on their #cruise, so we feature many recipes on our Holland America Blog. Popular requests have been for our Swiss Style Muesli and Clothesline Candied Bacon by @ChefDavidBurke! https://t.co/x4n2M9PGQb #TWchats

A12: While we’re not professional chefs, we are travel experts. We love any reason to revisit a favorite destination… even a food craving! 😍 #TWChats

A12: Not so well. I tried making bunny chow, something I had in Capetown (hollow out a loaf of bread and fill it with anything you like). I tried to make it at scale for a Travel Weekly staff holiday party, but it seemed to be missing something. Bunny, perhaps? #TWchats

A12: Yes! After taking an amazing cooking class at Sompong Thai Cooking School in Bangkok and was actually able to recreate some of the recipes at home. Not the tomato peel roses pictured, though, unfortunately. Those were really hard. #TWchats
