Annual #Travel Editors Roundtable

A5: We'd love to see @patagonia or another athleisure brand like @prAna run a sustainable, zero-waste hotel. The ones that do it right enter the space to answer a lifestyle need their audience has - one that is pivotal to their brand promise. #TWChats
replying to @TWtravelnews @TWtravelnews A2) My trip in November to Miami. I stayed at Aloft Brickel and it was amazing. Loved the rooms and the views. I had an awesome suite at the top and it was perfect pre night stay to a cruise #TWchats
replying to @CNTraveler @CNTraveler A2. I’ve been hosteling for a few years now, and have been really impressed with the facilities in Luxembourg and Switzerland. My dorm in Grindelwald couldn’t have had a better view. #TWChats
A5: Wellness and hospitality go hand in hand! The Jumby Bay Spa team values our partnership with @TataHarper - Liquid Gold Organic Massage, anyone? #JumbyBayIsland #TWchats
I wrote an Insight for our luxury eletter about the @Equinox Hotel and what it's doing right: https://t.co/t37H7i4sB7 #TWchats
A5: These brands know their niche and tailor their programming and offerings accordingly. In the travel space, there are few that do this as well as @sunrisespringNM. From soaking in spring-fed pools to embracing Silkie Chickens - there is an experience for everyone. #TWchats
A6: An overabundance of single-use products and washing linens daily is not great, but sustainable practices will likely take a backseat to heightened safety concerns. & Charging extra for singles when pairing strangers together in a twin might not go over well anymore! #TWChats
A6 Right now I would do anything to stay in a hotel. All by myself with no kids, a big bathtub, and someone to make my bed? I should be so lucky. As soon as we can I'm heading out and supporting the hotels I love so much. #TWchats
replying to @CNTraveler @CNTraveler A4. It’s hard to predict what will happen in the long term because we’ve all become so shortsighted. I’d like to see planes become cleaner, less crowded and more environmentally friendly. #TWChats
A6: The only qualms we have with our hotel partners right now is that we miss staying with them! #TWChats
A7: Our office loves food! Everyone had something to add -- Italy! Istanbul! Greece! Tokyo! -- but Mexico City won today for its taco bars and the best in fresh, hot churros. (Thanks for sharing this photo, Kate!) #TWChats
If you could travel to one destination with a heavy foodie focus where would it be? - @twtravelnews 🍇
#TWChats A7: Napa Valley, California! Great wines and Michelin Star restaurants in one of the most beautiful settings on earth.
A7: A foodie destination that’s near and dear to our hearts is #NewYorkCity - where many of our team members call home. It’s a hub of cultural diversity that is evident in the bold flavors found on every street corner, neighborhood, and borough. #TWchats
A7: The Jumby Bay Farm is a cornerstone of our island’s unique culinary program. From fresh eggs in the morning to produce picked just in time for an afternoon salad, it’s a foodie paradise. #TWchats ( 📸: @feedmedearly)
I have tweeted this photo at more than one #TWchats but it's always relevant: JAPAN. And the practice of food displays is so helpful for the traveler who, let's say, wants an awesome pork katsu at a coffee shop in Osaka and doesn't know how to ask for it ....
replying to @jules_afar @jules_afar We're crossing our fingers that we see you soon. #TWChats
A8: We've been drawn to the stories that have allowed us to feel like we're transported to the destination. @lauraitzkowitz recently took us to Spain where we cooked, danced and saw the ins & outs of the country in a recent @DeparturesMag piece: https://t.co/y9jQOGYJby #TWchats
