Annual #Travel Editors Roundtable
TWChats
A9: Boutique! They combine the expertise, access, and round-the-clock concierge service at major resorts with the close, personal care and privacy you'd find in an AirBnB. Friendly local experts (especially with languages!) on staff leads to peace of mind in a new place. #TWChats

@AFARmedia A7: I'd love to go back to Amsterstam, so many unique restaurants such as The Pancake Bakery and The Avocado Show
#TWChats
A9: Do we have to pick just one? One of the things we love most about the travel industry is that there is a property, destination, and experience for every personality. #TWchats
A8: Travel advice/destination articles are close to useless right now, so our latest issue of @perceptivetrav is a retrospective of armchair travel stories called "You Weren't Going to Go There Anyway" #TWChats https://t.co/R9Z81M9gCG
A9: We are so inspired by boutique hotels right now! We are dreaming of @Meadowoodnews - situated on a 250-acre wine country estate, we can’t think of a better place for a getaway. #TWChats
A10: Adventure travel in small groups is an intense bonding experience, so "introvert" hotels are the preference with our staff! We use the hotel for unwinding, relaxing, and preparing for tomorrow, so busy common areas and tons of activities feel unnecessary. #TWChats
replying to @CNTraveler @CNTraveler A7. I’ve been thinking a lot about the French Riviera lately. I wouldn’t mind stumbling straight out of a boulangerie and into a gelateria right now. #TWChats
A10: We like to think that #JumbyBayIsland appeals to travelers of all types! Itineraries can include everything from “high-energy” water sports to “low-key” dips in the pool. #TWchats
A10: While we’re typically an “extroverted” bunch, we've recently gravitated towards daydreams of the old-school glamour and alpine coziness of @GstaadPalace. We would happily tuck away to the Swiss Alps, with a book and a bite of truffle and champagne cheese in hand. #TWchats
A11: Much of the staff is in Northern California, and for many it's our happy place. We're lucky to have so much right here: San Francisco, Yosemite, Santa Cruz, Wine Country. Still, consensus was that our happy place is anywhere with friends, family, and fond memories. #TWChats
A10: We love @InterConHotels The Willard Washington D.C., where you can sip a classic cocktail at the coveted Round Robin Bar, one of the oldest bars in D.C. #TWChats
A11: Our "happy place" is our annual Crystal Conference, where we celebrate the year's achievements with a huge group of our travel family.
We were sad to miss out in 2020, but we're definitely going to make up for it in 2021.

A11 Paris, Tokyo, Switzerland, Italy, the Sea Ranch (CA), Portland, NYC, Palm Springs, and myriad others. #TWchats
A11: London calling. We’re longing for the comfort of England's cobblestone streets, the chatter of buzzy local pubs, and afternoon tea at @TheDorchester. Until then, we’ll be making their tea scones and strawberry jam in the comfort of our home. #DCMoments #TWchats
A11. Hiking among the red rocks in southern Utah on a sunny day in late April. Zion, Bryce Canyon, Moab...we miss this landscape! It makes our heart sing. #TWchats
replying to @AFARmedia @AFARmedia In the U.S., @sunvalley #Idaho hands-down. @visitidaho @dianenorton #TWchats
A11: We can’t help but think about relaxing on the beach! @1Hotels South Beach sits directly on 600 ft. of pristine beachfront, offering unparalleled views of the Atlantic ocean, Biscayne Bay, and Downtown Miami’s stunning skyline - this is certainly our happy place! #TWChats
