Q6: More on hospitality: Tweet a hotel practice that turns you off -- or that you used to dislike but have learned to appreciate. #TWchats

A6: An overabundance of single-use products and washing linens daily is not great, but sustainable practices will likely take a backseat to heightened safety concerns. & Charging extra for singles when pairing strangers together in a twin might not go over well anymore! #TWChats

A6: I last traveled 3/13/20. Stayed @SLS Brickell. I hate/detest/despise resort fees, but for 1st time ever, felt it was worth it. For $25: use of house car, daily laundry, gym, shoe shine & more. #TWChats

A6 Right now I would do anything to stay in a hotel. All by myself with no kids, a big bathtub, and someone to make my bed? I should be so lucky. As soon as we can I'm heading out and supporting the hotels I love so much. #TWchats

A6. Sub-par hotel breakfast buffets are one of the few victims of Covid-19 that we're happy to see go! #TWchats

A6 I wasn’t crazy about the no-front-desk approach some hotels have—who do I ask for help?–but at #paramounthousehotel in Sydney they brought me around. The "front desk" doubled as a merch-concierge stand & felt less formal, more friendly, & still helpful. #TWchats @afarmedia

A6: (1/2) I despise the hypocrisy of hotels po’ faced saying they are saving the planet by not washing your towels, but present you with a laundry menu for any clothes you want to wash! #TWchats

A6: My biggest hotel pet peeve is poor room lighting. Honestly, invest in better bulbs! #TWChats

A6: Charging for Wi-Fi is a turn off, most hotels have learned but there are a few stragglers. - @jacquigiff #TWchats https://t.co/0C4kczkLC8

A6: The only qualms we have with our hotel partners right now is that we miss staying with them! #TWChats

replying to @TWtravelnews @TWtravelnews A6:

1. When a hotel property actively blocks cellular data and/or WiFi signals. One certain Salt Lake City based hospitality giant is notorious for a history of their properties doing that.

2. Resort fees. Just another shady money grab tactic.

replying to @CNTraveler @CNTraveler A6. Bellboys and concierges. I can carry my own belongings, thanks. After all, I did make it all the way from home. I’d rather encounter as few people as possible between the plane and the shower, so I value self-service wherever possible. #TWChats
