A6 I wasn’t crazy about the no-front-desk approach some hotels have—who do I ask for help?–but at #paramounthousehotel in Sydney they brought me around. The "front desk" doubled as a merch-concierge stand & felt less formal, more friendly, & still helpful. #TWchats @afarmedia
replying to @awtravelweekly @awtravelweekly I've never been a fan of random knocks on the door to check the minibar. I guess with the way things are going, this won't be a problem anymore. No more minibar. #TWChats
Cashless tipping could also be a big boon for tour guides/servers/baristas ... as people get more comfy with using services like Apple Pay. #TWchats #bravenewworld https://t.co/u6XE40QtLk
replying to @CNTraveler @CNTraveler I’ve still never been able to get used to somebody else unpacking—or packing—my suitcase for me! #TWchats

A6: (1/2) I despise the hypocrisy of hotels po’ faced saying they are saving the planet by not washing your towels, but present you with a laundry menu for any clothes you want to wash! #TWchats
#TWchats Q6: wrapped plastic cups in bathrooms. Maybe this will be a necessary evil? or at least wrapped glasses.
A6: My biggest hotel pet peeve is poor room lighting. Honestly, invest in better bulbs! #TWChats
A6: Charging for Wi-Fi is a turn off, most hotels have learned but there are a few stragglers. - @jacquigiff #TWchats https://t.co/0C4kczkLC8

Q6: More on hospitality: Tweet a hotel practice that turns you off -- or that you used to dislike but have learned to appreciate. #TWchats
replying to @CNTraveler @CNTraveler A4. It’s hard to predict what will happen in the long term because we’ve all become so shortsighted. I’d like to see planes become cleaner, less crowded and more environmentally friendly. #TWChats
To answer the earlier question about short-term and possibly longer-term changes--Housekeeping will no longer be a daily affair for multi-night guests, unless requested. #TWchats
replying to @cabojulie @cabojulie Yes, private jets and first and business class will likely be considered suitable options--another reason why #luxurytravel is likely to rebound first. #twchats

replying to @wanderlust13 @wanderlust13 Amen to that! Especially poor bathroom lighting over trough sinks with no counter space. #TWchats
replying to @dailysuitcase @dailysuitcase That's an interesting one - strike a balance between protecting the workers and protecting the guests. No one likes high contact right now, but everyone also expects extra attention to cleanliness! #TWChats
A6: The only qualms we have with our hotel partners right now is that we miss staying with them! #TWChats

A7: Our office loves food! Everyone had something to add -- Italy! Istanbul! Greece! Tokyo! -- but Mexico City won today for its taco bars and the best in fresh, hot churros. (Thanks for sharing this photo, Kate!) #TWChats
