A1. I haven't been somewhere that would be classified as 'extreme' but if it's very cold, I always make sure I have base layers and thick socks. Even if I'm going to spend a day walking around, I pack extra clothes in my backpack #TravelBetterChat

replying to @TravelBetterApp @TravelBetterApp A1 I am from Canada and had to walk to school everyday. It was on the prairies so not uphill both ways. But the wind would change direction and be in your face both ways.
A Canada Goose jacket is actually useful at -40 with the windchill.

a great base layer to suck moisture off your skin (cotton undies are not recommended)
Highly recommend @patagonia underwear.
