replying to @GermanyTourism @GermanyTourism TIP Generally, you’ll find much better deals for lunch than for dinner at nice European restaurants #TravelSkills
A5 Germany has a lot of great quick street food! Did we mention Thuringian Bratwurst? :) #visitthuringia #TravelSkills

A5. Favorite moment with a street vendor was in Ortigia, Sicily. Took about 28 steps and at least 16 ingredients to make this sandwich. #TravelSkills #travel #food
replying to @Heather_Poole @Heather_Poole @BerraTV @cjmcginnis @GermanyTourism Very true! BTW: Don't forget the #TravelSkills hashtag in replies so others in the chat can see and we get credit. #TravelSkills
replying to @GermanyTourism @GermanyTourism True that! But talking about street food: pork tartar is a thing in our region. Raw, fine minced meat, topped with salt plus pepper and onions on some fresh bread. You can get it in every butcher’s shop! #TravelSkills #VisitThuringia

Most unusual food on a recent trip to Europe? Pig knuckle! And it was really good on a cold snowy day in Nuremberg #TravelSkills
replying to @TomFliesDotCom @TomFliesDotCom Ma belle France 😍 Eclairs addict here, by the way. #travelskills
replying to @GermanyTourism @GermanyTourism TIP No matter what the vendor is selling, the best food is usually from the one with the longest line #TravelSkills
A5 Love doner kebab in Germany with a beer or Schwip Schwap (cola-orange soda mix) #TravelSkills
TIP In the Eichsfeld region you can enjoy excellent air dried sausage specialities. Their traditional production process hasn’t changed over the past 300 years! Its intensive aroma comes from the high-quality regional ingredients. #TravelSkills #visitthuringia
replying to @GermanyTourism @GermanyTourism A5 I spent a week last December eating fantastic street and stall food at Xmas markets along the Danube with @VikingCruises #TravelSkills

replying to @cjmcginnis @cjmcginnis A5 Best, cheapest meal we had while on Mykonos was gyro with a can of Fix beer for five pounds. Ate in a tiny, whitewashed laneway. Our fave food experience on that trip! #TravelSkills
My preferred #travel companion for a #Germany #vacation? @reneesaglie of course! I need to show off some of the gorgeous corners of #Munich that I discovered last year during #Oktoberfest! @GermanyTourism #TravelSkills
replying to @cjmcginnis @cjmcginnis @GingerandCarrie LOL when I went a few years ago I felt like they gave me too much beer during the tour. I wasn't ready! #TravelSkills

I found amazing prices the last time I was in Portugal. We found a simple place for seafood in central Lisbon in a locals area and probably spent $20 USD per person including good wine. Good, hearty German food isn’t expensive, either. A5 #TravelSkills #Germany @GermanyTourism
A5. I must have missed the part of #Europe with cheap #food LOL. And I’m mostly there in #winter so don’t get much #streetfood either. But I love the stalls in #Copenhagen’s #ChristmasMarkets. Nothing better to warm you up on a chilly December evening.

A4 Best #European country for #beer? My research trip to #Oktoberfest 2017 showed me the way. #prost! @GermanyTourism @HofbraeuhausMUC #TravelSkills
