replying to @LandLopers @LandLopers A7 if you carry photo gear like me, I'm a huge fan of backacks that open from the back, instead of the front. So, nobody can unzip your bag when you're standing around or in a crowd, because the side that opens is against your back. I.e. @Lowepro flipside. #TravelSkills

replying to @theplanetd @theplanetd A7: I don't use or wear anything fancy: decent leggings, thick comfy socks for in-flight, loose enough top to sleep comfortably if needed, long cashmere or wool scarf/shawl for added warmth. Best accessory is a headlamp. #travelskills

A8. Better design on planes? Overhead bins tall enough to take rollaboards on their sides. View screens on every seat. Give back some legroom! #TravelSkills

replying to @JohnnyJet @JohnnyJet A7 I immediately think of GRID-IT from @cocoonbags - so useful! Then I won't travel without a stout battery pack from @AnkerOfficial . Lastly, a big fan of carrying a power strip that you can plug into Euro outlets. Invaluable in traditional or older hotels #travelskills

replying to @travelskills @travelskills A7 I travel with clothing and accessories that are at least 50% cotton. They wear well. Of course, shoes without laces are a must! #TravelSkills

Rollaboards make travel easy cuz you don’t have to carry a 50 lb bag. People pack too much. So airlines make bigger bins to accommodate it all & then people buy bigger bags to lug more stuff on board. As a flight attendant, I 💗 seeing squishy duffel bags. They fit! #travelskills https://t.co/avBXmX1OuY

A8. More shoulder room as well as more legroom. Larger restrooms. Sadly, I think most airlines will ignore all these ideas because they like the revenue they get when taking these things out. #travelskills
