A. If I could take an all expense trip anywhere in the world, I’d take my mother on the Orient Express or a Mediterranean cruise. Or I’d take my son on a tour of Europe so he can see how beautiful it is. In London we’d visit the biggest sax shop in the world #TravelSkills

RT @wyndestinations: A5: #TravelSkills With all of our destinations it's too hard to choose! Here's just a few for us: https://t.co/DC5wKT1…

RT @BBC_Travel: A4: The Faroe Islands are famously beautiful and sure to inspire! #TravelSkills https://t.co/xJASIxIXAM

A6: Embrace the cold in the town that is responsible for winter tourism as we know it! #TravelSkills https://t.co/I0iZuaFBi7

replying to @DanaHFreeman @DanaHFreeman Can't wait! Good way to escape the cold here in Toronto. #TravelSkills

replying to @travelskills @travelskills A6: anywhere in the Caribbean! Need to be reminded of what the sun is ☀️🌴 #TravelSkills

replying to @travelskills @travelskills A6: Anywhere warm! I'd happily spend 4 months every year down in New Zealand (where I grew up) to avoid the cold! Can't do it yet though - we have a dog-child ;-) #TravelSkills

replying to @JimByersTravel @JimByersTravel Nice! What was the best part of your visit? #TravelSkills

Thanks for joining the #TravelSkills chat! Today: Where to go in 2019, with @wyndestinations!

replying to @theplanetd @theplanetd Where abouts did you go? It’s always been on my bucket list but reading Lost Japan this year really pushed it to the top. #TravelSkills

replying to @Travel_boomer @Travel_boomer @cjmcginnis @wyndestinations @CarnivalCruise @CharlesMcCool Only went through 3 locks to Gatun Lake and back. #travelskills

A7: #TravelSkills When staying in one of our Wyndham resorts, it is always nice to pick up some fresh local foods and utilize the kitchen in the room for cooking. Great for an inexpensive & low-key night in.

RT @travelskills: Q7 How do you save money in a destination known for high prices? #TravelSkills https://t.co/sNoEYe8dYj

replying to @travelskills @travelskills A5: African safari. Expensive so not in the cards for awhile but on my bucket list #TravelSkills

A7: Visit in the off-season. You can find amazing deals on hotels, restaurants, activities and more in Naples and Marco Island during the summer months. #TravelSkills

replying to @thousandmilest1 @thousandmilest1 It was on my list for a long time :) It is beautiful but expensive! #travelskills

replying to @wyndestinations @wyndestinations A7 There are a number of ways. Look into alternate accommodations and don’t go to expensive restaurants. Go to a grocery store/farmers market and buy food for a picnic. #TravelSkills

replying to @wyndestinations @wyndestinations A7 I’m lucky that I have the flexibility to travel during the slower season and take advantage of cheap rates #TravelSkills

A6: Kauai Q6 What's your favorite place to go during the cold winter months? #TravelSkills https://t.co/Q5bYME0JkE

A7 Travel during the off season, be flexible on dates, eat from street vendors not at restaurants, and work with a professional travel agent. #travelskills

replying to @JimByersTravel @JimByersTravel @JohnnyJet @ManoirHoveyQC It's lovely. Our 1st visit was as 2 weary journalists/news refugees after covering 9/11 and we've been back in every season since, usually every 2 years. A 75 cent Canadian $ and no airfare really helps. #TravelSkills

Eat where the locals eat, I find great, inexpensive Asian cuisine in cities all over the world. If you want to try a fancy restaurant, go at lunch when prices are lower. Also, try happy hours for great deals, especially in the U.S. Canada not as much :(

A5 Africa is the place at the top of my bucket list -- just waiting for the all-expenses-paid part ;) #TravelSkills

A6 Stay home in #Miami, of course. If I leave, it's hard to get flights back. #TravelSkills https://t.co/MMNnlGQeXS

A2. Hot U.S. cities in 2019? #Portland, #KansasCity and, of course, #NewOrleans. I hope to get back to all of them. (Especially #Upperline resto in #NOLA) #TravelSkills

replying to @wyndestinations @wyndestinations TIP Check out Love Home Swap as it’s one of the world’s largest home exchange programs #TravelSkills

A7: TIP Consider timeshare. #WyndhamDestinations has 220 resorts and may be a great option if you love exploring new destinations. #TravelSkills

A7: One big spot to save is lodging expenses. Consider these 10 alternatives to hotels: https://t.co/H4Q7brPJ6R #TravelSkills

TIP If you are trying to cut costs on food, head to the grocery store and choose one meal a day to eat in. Wyndham resorts are equipped with large kitchens that make dining in 👌 #TravelSkills
