A6: Ever wonder what's behind the wall in the rainbow tunnel that connects concourses B and C at ORD? That’s actually our baggage sorting area! #TravelSkills

replying to @united @united A6 SFO airport roadways are clogged in the mornings. Ask the taxi or rideshare driver to drop you off in the central parking lot instead of curbside. #TravelSkills

replying to @united @united A6 LAX is my home airport. One way to beat the lines there if you’re checking a bag is to use a curbside skycap. #TravelSkills

A6. Best tip? You can crash overnight or for a few hours in this room at @FlySFO (shower is extra). And if you stay every night, it's still cheaper than a #SanFrancisco apartment. #travelskills https://t.co/WanPlFLg6z

replying to @united @united A6 At LAX, a network of behind-security underground tunnels means you can walk from United’s T7 all the way to TBIT (Tom Bradley International Terminal) #TravelSkills

A6: In Boston, the silver line of the T is free from the airport into town. That's one reason it made this list: https://t.co/vCr29usWJY #TravelSkills

replying to @united @united A6 Almost everyone knows that the @innoutburger near LAX is great for plane-spotting and burgers but not many know that near the other runway is the Proud Bird restaurant, which has a lot more food choices #TravelSkills

A6 Shop with confidence at @flypdx - the airport has an ordinance that prohibits airport vendors from marking up prices higher than the city - and there's no sales tax! #TravelSkills https://t.co/KncSB3x8xW

A6: At @MSN_Airport I like to ride my bike to the airport when weather allows. There are bike racks in the parking garage. And, if you aren't overburdened with luggage, it's great (And free). Also, there is a golf course nearby for some plane peeping as you play #TravelSkills https://t.co/8PK869X4lm

replying to @LandLopers @LandLopers A6. My hometown airport is John Wayne (SNA). They have color coded columns with numbers to help make pick-up easier! "Mom, I'm at the Green Column #5" rather than "I'm under the @United sign!" #travelskills

replying to @travelskills @travelskills A6: Tip for my “home” airport of SFO.

If you’re flying out of T3 (which is United) the security checkpoint line can get long especially mid morning. Try the International-G checkpoint, which tends to be a shorter wait in the mornings. #TravelSkills

A6 If you change terminals at Detroit's Metropolitan airport, there's an amazing sound and light show in the tunnel -- takes you back to the '60s #TravelSkills

A6: If you're using public transportation to get to JFK, take the E/F train to Kew Gardens station. Near there, catch the Q10 bus to the airport. Its final stop is at Terminal 5 and can get on AirTram and save you additional cost. #travelskills

A6: For @United flights out of Terminal 3 at @flySFO, breeze past security at the International Concourse G checkpoint when you clear during non-peak hours (mid-afternoons and early evenings). Then walk to your gate post-security. 30 seconds at most with TSA Pre! #travelskills https://t.co/1b9K51DYsC

#TravelSkills A6 - My hometown airport is ATL and our public transportation, MARTA, is by far the easiest way to get there.

A6. Local Airport Tip: LAX. If you're going to terminal 4, get your driver to use the cut across/cross over lane to drop you off at terminal 5/6 and walk. The traffic to get around the horseshoe is insane. It's faster to walk. Avoid Thomas Bradley Intl departures #Travelskills

replying to @Heather_Poole A6. Local Airport Tip: LAX. Now that everyone uses Uber, there's very rarely a line to get a yellow cab. If there is a line, it goes pretty quick. #TravelSkills

replying to @LandLopers @LandLopers A6 @dfwairport 1) depending on departure day/time, consider PreCheck at Term. D instead of A/B/C/E and either 2) walk between terminals, which is enjoyable and most forget about or 3) take the Skylink train which runs both directions and is great for getting around #travelskills
