Q9 Do you buy insurance when visiting developing countries? Why or why not? #TravelSkills
A9. We know travel insurance is always a good idea, but when you're traveling overseas where your health insurance doesn't cover you, it's imperative. #TravelSkills
replying to @AllianzTravelUS @AllianzTravelUS A9 Yes, it’s always a good idea to have travel insurance, and to know what you have BEFORE you go #TravelSkills
replying to @AllianzTravelUS @AllianzTravelUS A9 I buy travel insurance no matter where I go #TravelSkills
A9 As travel agents, we wouldn't go on a trip overseas without insurance, too many horror stories. Travelers need to understand that each country has different policies and procedures and local laws apply when a foreigner gets sick or dies in that country. #travelskills
A9. Buy insurance for travel in developing countries? I only get the specific insurance that guarantees I'll never be displayed in the Guanajuato Mummy Museum. ;-) #travelskills #travel
A9 Mexico was the first time I've bought travel insurance, partly because it's winter and I was worried about weather-related cancellations. #travelskills https://t.co/aW4X5Ab20p

A9 We always buy travel insurance no matter where we go! And we've used it too #TravelSkills
A9: I have insurance for all trips, it’s not always the developing ones that create problems. Biggest insurance claim I filed was in Norway following lost luggage lol #travelskills

replying to @cjmcginnis @cjmcginnis A9. We have not. Is that something outside of regular trip insurance? #TravelSkills #travel
