A6 When I lived in #SanDiego I knew lots of people who often drove south across the border. on @News8 & @thecwsandiego this week I shared a #Travezoo offer at @Rosarito_Hotel that incl. #FastPass, which cuts border wait time on drive back: https://t.co/eY1E1QpQGX #TravelSkills

A7. There’s no BAD part of Mexico for food! As long as you’re eating locally - inside big resorts the food is generally not as good. #TravelSkills

A8: Caribbean tends to be calmer - Pacific waves are often meant for surfing. #TravelSkills https://t.co/FEjkX6A7QA

replying to @AllianzTravelUS @AllianzTravelUS TIP Be very careful swimming on both sides but esp the Pacific. Don’t go in unless you’re near a lifeguard stand. #TravelSkills

replying to @AllianzTravelUS @AllianzTravelUS A8 Cabo is a great place to hang out BY the beach, but you can’t go in. Too dangerous. #TravelSkills

replying to @DarleyNewman @DarleyNewman I"ll leave the fried worms to you, Darley. :) #TravelSkills

Q8 For Mexican beaches, do you prefer the Pacific coast or Caribbean/Gulf coast? Why? #TravelSkills

First trip to Mexico (Cozumel) in 1980. Slept in a hammock for two weeks and only drank beer ;) #TravelSkills

So, here's the secret to enjoying Mexico beaches. Become friends with Richard Branson. Watch the sun come up over the pyramids at Tulum on the Caribbean side. Then hop on Branson's private plane and catch the sunset at Puerto Vallarta. Problem solved. A8 #travelskills

Mexico City is one of the most cosmopolitan places in North America. Have you been? #TravelSkills

replying to @travelskills @travelskills #TravelSkills do not eat any fruits or vegetables that are not cooked or have a skin to peel off. Also, ice only in high end resorts. Montezuma’s Revenge is real and unfortunately fairly likely to happen. Though only lasts a day usually.

A9. We know travel insurance is always a good idea, but when you're traveling overseas where your health insurance doesn't cover you, it's imperative. #TravelSkills

replying to @AllianzTravelUS @AllianzTravelUS A9 Yes, it’s always a good idea to have travel insurance, and to know what you have BEFORE you go #TravelSkills
