replying to @LandLopers @LandLopers I'd love to see Perth and the western coast beaches, meet a quokka, drink some coffee in Sydney and then check out Tasmania and as well as the Daintree Rainforest #travelskills

replying to @travelskills @travelskills TIP Weather varies throughout Australia’s states. Plan accordingly! Summer is Dec-Feb through most of the country, while winter spans Jun-Aug. In northern Queensland and the Northern Territory, it can be dry (May-Sep) and wet (Oct-Apr). #TravelSkills

A8. Snorkeling in #Australia? Yes, but only on a blue-fin tuna farm. Yeah, really. Big suckers and they move really fast. #travelskills

replying to @Australia @Australia A8 I’m not certified for diving, but Cairns would be a great place to learn! #TravelSkills

replying to @cjmcginnis @cjmcginnis A8. Snorkeled the Great Barrier Reef twice. Recommend doing a lesson. #Travelskills

Snorkelled a few places in Australia: Great Barrier Reef, Lord Howe Island and Lady Elliott Island a few years ago. Lady Elliott is a famous dive and snorkel spot on the great reef. One small lodge and tons of ocean all around. Very cool place. A8 #travelskills #Australia

@Australia TIP Since Australia is an island surrounded by clear blue water, there are tons of places to dive and snorkel. It’s not all about the Great Barrier Reef. Here are some good ideas: https://t.co/0pdr06HaiE

A8 Yes, we love to get in the water whereever we are! But the most unique diving experience we had in Australia was our helmet dive #travelskills

replying to @Australia @Australia A8 I’ve been snorkeling in the Great Barrier Reef multiple times. If you don’t like crowds, choose a small tour operator to take you to the untouched spots. #TravelSkills

A8: Yup! My one and only time diving was along the Great Barrier Reef - an amazing experience! #travelskills

A8: We love snorkeling on #vacay. It’s the perfect way to see the native fish in #Florida’s freshwater springs. What a relaxing way to spend the day in #OcalaMarion. #TravelSkills (IG 📸: happy_roots)

replying to @travelskills @travelskills My dream trip to Australia would involve a business class flight for my mother and I to visit my son and hire a luxury camper van to spend a month just driving around and catching up with mums sister who she hasn’t seen for 25 years #travelskills

replying to @SmarterTravel @SmarterTravel That looks awesome! Now adding it to the list! #TravelSkills

replying to @Australia @Australia TIP Take a helicopter or seaplane and go to Whitehaven Beach for a picnic and snorkel! #TravelSkills

A8 Went snorkeling at Great Barrier Reef when I was younger. Tips: wear sunscreen that is safe for coral! Many sunscreens kill coral! #TravelSkills #TravelTip @BlueLizardSun

replying to @LandLopers @LandLopers I was just in Tasmania and I want to go back! Such a unique place and a lot to explore! #TravelSkills

A8 The #GreatBarrierReef is a pilgrimage for so many water buffs, but for a neat alternative, get to #Ningaloo in Western #Australia, a remote 160-mi. long #reef teeming w/humpback #whales, #turtles, manta rays and tropical #fish, as well as the elusive whale shark! #TravelSkills

replying to @travelskills @travelskills TIP When snorkeling, cover up with a rash guard and make sure you have a hat (even on overcast days). #TravelSkills

replying to @JohnnyJet @JohnnyJet I’ve tried snorkeling in turkey but felt claustrophobic, happy to free swim. Would love the opportunity of seeing the Great Barrier Reef through a glass bottomed boat though #travelskills

A7 My dream trip to Australia would be a visit to the Great Barrier Reef, the outback, and Uluru, plus a little beach time on Manley Beach #TravelSkills
