replying to @united @united TIP If in bulkhead or exit row in coach, take your carry-on bag down from the bin after takeoff, put a blanket on it, and use as a footrest #TravelSkills

A10 If it's a row of 3 or in the middle, Dave takes the Aisle I take the middle so we don't have to crawl over anyone. #TravelSkills

A10: Aisle always and forever. I get up too often to make a window seat a realistic option, although I do love the views #TravelSkills

A10 I MUST have a window- always! So that I can lay my head on something. I also like to take pictures and timelapses from the plane :) #TravelSkills

I like window seats on short haul flights to great cities like NYC. You can get amazing photos. But for longer-haul it's definitely the aisle. You can get up and stretch. And if you're flying over an ocean there's very little to see, anyway. A10 #travelskills

replying to @united @United A10 I love sitting in the aisle in biz class when flight attendants roll out the dessert carts #TravelSkills

replying to @scotia626 @scotia626 @united @flySFO I hear from a lot of readers who lament the loss of the older seats which they feel offer more space. Esp taller/larger flyers #TravelSkills

A9: I was having a hard time falling asleep on a flight to London but the ambient music on @VirginAtlantic helped me drift off. 😴 #TravelSkills
