Long-haul flights are good for getting work done. But too often the seats are so squished together I can't open my laptop. That's when I trot out my iPad and the attached keyboard. I can be fairly productive even flying over the Pacific. A8 #travelskills #travel @elliottchun

A8 A reusable water bottle, phone charger, headphones and a phone or tablet with the latest United app. #TravelSkills

I always pack an extra pair of underwear, socks, toothbrush/toothpaste and phone/computer charger for long-haul flights. Those are the absolute essentials I'd need just in case something happened to my bag along the way!

replying to @JohnnyJet @JohnnyJet A8. A scarf that doubles as blanket. And snacks because you can never have enough #TravelSkills

A8 Carry-On Must Haves: water, snacks, glasses, and my mouth guard. I turn into a different woman when I'm on the plane #TravelSkills

A8: I usually keep a book and an ipad with me, and then anything else I don't want to have in checked bags. #TravelSkills https://t.co/6sagBcg1up

replying to @travelskills @travelskills A8: Water, band-aids, a few wipes and most important of all: a form of electronic entertainment that has a screen big enough to not strain your eyes after prolonged usage. That’s why I don’t recommend playing games on a smartphone. #TravelSkills

A8. It doesn't matter if the flight is short or long, I have the same must-haves for every flight: A book (or two), a bottle of water, food/snacks, a sweater (airplanes are cold! Even during the summer), phone, pen & paper, allergy/cold medicine, cambridge mask #Travelskills

replying to @travelskills @travelskills A8: A mega-sized water bottle to stay hydrated. Extra portable batteries (in case the in-seat power doesn’t work). Earplugs, eyeshades, disinfecting wipes for the seat, nasal spray and eye drops. All part of my inflight routine. #travelskills

replying to @travelskills @travelskills A8. Noise reduced headphones, lip balm and extra battery packs. #TravelSkills

A8 Earplugs,
