Q4 What's the most dangerous thing you've ever done on a trip? #TravelHappy @LuxeTiffany @andrewzimmern @joshuagates @AwrdTravel101 @DailyTravelTips @mommypoints @ZachHonig @mattvillano (Please use #TravelSkills hashtag so others can see)

replying to @AllianzTravelUS @AllianzTravelUS A4 Hmmm. Probably zip-lining in Costa Rica. Or body-surfing in big waves in Puerto Vallarta. #TravelSkills

A4. Most dangers thing I've done on a trip? I once was on a cruise ship with 5,000 travel agents and an open bar. I still get night terrors. And a little PTSD. #travelskills

replying to @AllianzTravelUS @AllianzTravelUS A4 Probably when I pet a cheetah in South Africa or held a tarantula in Belize #TravelSkills #TravelHappy

replying to @JohnnyJet @JohnnyJet @LuxeTiffany @andrewzimmern @joshuagates @DailyTravelTips @mommypoints @ZachHonig @mattvillano A4. I once ate the spiciest, greasiest Thai dish at a street stall a 40 min walk away from my hotel. Let’s say that 40 min turned into an Olympic sprint. #Danger #travelskills

Scariest trip? We did a fab jet boat ride in Skippers Canyon, New Zealand. The boats were fine; the road was terrifying! Not even two lanes in wide, all dirt, no guard rails, huge drop to certain death. I read later it’s one of most dangerous roads in the world. A4 #travelskills

replying to @travelskills @travelskills A4 Jaywalked across a freeway. No comment other than I wouldn’t recommend it or do it again. #TravelSkills

A4. I hiked with friends up a mountain in France in the fog. The path was wide going up, but at the summit it was hard to see where t to stand. Won't do that again. #TravelSkills

A4: Ha, well that’s different from adventure travel. One of the craziest activities I did was the world’s highest bungee swing in South Africa. Still freaks me out just thinking about it #TravelSkills

replying to @AllianzTravelUS @AllianzTravelUS A4 Riding in a helicopter over Cape Town, South Africa, with @PeterSGreenberg! #TravelSkills

replying to @AllianzTravelUS @AllianzTravelUS A4 Or when I went down a natural waterslide in the jungles of Fiji or swam in a river in the Australian Daintree Rainforest #TravelSkills

A4: Usually stay home and drive a car. Traveling, even adventurously, is no more dangerous than staying home. #travelskills #thisisadventure

A4: These adventure tours are so potentially dangerous that you need a doctor's note to take them: https://t.co/bcJhpiFouM #TravelSkills

replying to @travelskills @travelskills A4: my most dangerous was also my most fun! I stood behind planes as they took off at Maho Beach in St. Maarten and got to "swim with the planes“ 🌊✈️ #travelskills

replying to @travelskills @travelskills A4: Totally NOT by choice....got caught in the horrific floods and landslides outside Caracas in 1998, while traveling as a courier. Terrifying and made last flight out. #TravelSkills

replying to @AllianzTravelUS @AllianzTravelUS A4 Don’t let fear of danger prevent you from seeing the world! Use common sense, just like you do at home when traveling in a so-called “dangerous” country. #TravelSkills

A4. The Nile river chewed us up and spit us out.

A4 What's the most dangerous thing you've ever done on a trip? Crossing the street in Hanoi? With kids? #TravelSkills #TravelHappy https://t.co/kaZ5B6TaBr

A4: LOL I should say dealing with copperheads in our backyard! But honestly, probably a few hikes that we have done where we were on the edge in @ZionNPS etc #TravelSkills

RT @cjmcginnis: @AllianzTravelUS A4 Don’t let fear of danger prevent you from seeing the world! Use common sense, just like you do at home…

replying to @JohnnyJet @JohnnyJet @LuxeTiffany @andrewzimmern @joshuagates @AwrdTravel101 @DailyTravelTips @mommypoints @ZachHonig @mattvillano A4 I don't think we ever look at something and say it's dangerous although anything has the potential to be dangerous. Trekking to altitude can be dangerous but you take steps to make it less dangerous. #TravelSkills

RT @SmarterTravel: A4: These adventure tours are so potentially dangerous that you need a doctor's note to take them: https://t.co/bcJhpiFo…

replying to @cjmcginnis @cjmcginnis A4 Walk around a city at night. Pick a city. There were many. Much more dangerous than skydiving. 🤣🤣🤣 #travel #TravelSkills

A4: The most dangerous thing I have done while traveling is probably skydiving! I also met strangers while traveling that are now friends :). The world is more connected than we think! #TravelSkills

A4 Hmmm. Recent bungee jump from the Macao Tower. or swimming with sharks in Dubai. at the mall!?!?! #TravelSkills

A4 Most dangerous? Helicopter ride off a glacier in Alaska. A storm was coming in + we were dangerously heavy w/equipment. I kissed the ground after #TravelSkills

replying to @divergenttravel
@divergenttravel A4: risky or dangerous? Or do you mean scary?
Assessing/managing risk changes perceptions.
Overnight Indian bus with a "substance-enhanced" driver, anyone?

A4. The most dangerous thing I've ever done on a trip. jogging around Dodger Stadium in a jog bra & shorts didn't seem smart. I'll never eat a turtle kabob again (San Francisco). Surprisingly, eating a barracuda on a beach in Mexico turned out to be a great idea. #TravelSkills

A4 - stupidly strolled around MacArthur Park LA, on my own, back in the day when it wasn’t a place for a lone female. #TravelSkills

replying to @travelskills @travelskills A4: Early 80s on a trip to East Berlin. I wanted to trade for some Russian military belt buckles. The going rate was a pair of jeans for two buckles. Let’s just say the trade had to be made out of sight of prying eyes. Unnerving to say the least. #TravelSkills

replying to @TravelPast50 @TravelPast50 A4 definitely crossing the street in both Vietnam and Egypt! #TravelSkills

A4. Danger is mitigated by the @AllianzTravelUS Travel Smart app. Saved our butts in Hanoi recently. #travelskills #travelhappy https://t.co/KjQE0V75ft

replying to @cjmcginnis @cjmcginnis A4: Most dangerous thing was deliberately drive to LAX #travelskills

A4: Ran from a cloud of tear gas being lobbed at protesters by the Turkish national police on the Asia side of Istanbul. And paying a visit to the DMZ two weeks before Kim Jong Il's death. Tensions were high! #travelskills https://t.co/oob7NsMqAH

A4. I’m sure my mom would say that me hitchhiking in Africa was super dangerous, but actually at the time it was very acceptable and normal. Met some super nice people and got to see Vic Falls when no buses were going there! #TravelSkills
