replying to @LandLopers @LandLopers @Melbourne @Australia Nice I need to go there too! #TravelSkills

replying to @Australia @Australia A7 Unless you can get a suite and access to a club lounge, renting an apartment is better for families since it provides more space and a kitchen. #TravelSkills

replying to @Australia @Australia A7 The best part about renting a home with kids is the meals. Much easier with a kitchen, fridge, etc. #TravelSkills

A7: This is definitely something that depends on the family and the destination. We do think that wherever you lodge, you shouldn’t stay inside too long! Get out, explore and immerse yourself in the culture of your destination. https://t.co/K2JKZK3yJE #TravelSkills

replying to @Australia @Australia TIP Always find out what the fees and rules are regarding having more than two people in a hotel room. Some hotels don’t even allow more than three people in a room. #TravelSkills

replying to @Australia @Australia TIP A cool new service called @Suiteness helps travelers find connecting hotel rooms—those with interior doors. Cheaper than booking a suite. Great for kids or snorers! https://t.co/O1aSCfAQM2 #TravelSkills

A7 Depends on how many family members, the destination and the length of the trip. Both are great options. Here, we share our favorite family-friendly hotels in the world: https://t.co/VT8n4crQA6 #TravelSkills

I'd have go with home-sharing for families. A hotel with a pool is great, but a house offers more privacy and more space for family members. A7 #TravelSkills

A7. Hotel vs. home-share for family travel? Hotel. Less personal stuff for curious kids to get into or damage. #travelskills

replying to @cjmcginnis @cjmcginnis Both have their benefits but having access to a kitchen is really key for me when traveling with a little one. You can get that in an apartment or if you have lounge access at a hotel - both work! #TravelSkills

We used to take trips from Toronto to Hawaii with our three kids every couple years, even when they were quite young. Ten hours of flying. We usually broke it up wiith two flights. Often stopped in SF on the way there or on the way back. A8 #TravelSkills

A7: With a hotel, an in-room fridge or on-site or nearby dining is a must. #TravelSkills

replying to @Australia @Australia A8 I loved taking my mom to London back in 1990s. We went twice and had a ball both times. #TravelSkills

replying to @Australia @Australia TIP Get an aviation flight log (some airlines like @AmericanAir give them away) and have the pilot fill it out and sign it each flight. That way your child will always know where they went. #TravelSkills
