replying to @Australia @Australia A5 If I’m in business class and can get some real sleep, I prefer the real long-haul #TravelSkills

A5. Long-haul vs. stopping halfway? It’s like ripping off a bandaid – get it over with. Would rather spend the time at the destination than in yet another airport. #travelskills

replying to @travelskills @travelskills #TravelSkills A5) Give me one direct flight anywhere any day, no matter how long, provided I'm in business or higher.

replying to @Australia @Australia A5 If I’m flying on economy class, a stop along the way is nice—even if it’s just for a few hours #TravelSkills

A5: One very long flight please, I just want to get there. Killing time in airports can be a pain, lounge or no lounge #travelskills

A5. If I am in First Class, I don't mind long haul flights. If I can't be, then I'd prefer to do a Stopover and break up the journey. #TravelSkills @travelskills

A5 It's much better to have one long flight than two shorter ones. The more flights, the more chances for delays and missed connections. Just rip the bandage off with one flight. Steel yourself and get it over with. #TravelSkills

A5 Flying from the east coast to #Hawaii I’d stop off in San Fran for a few days. The trip out is not too bad but coming home is brutal. #travelskills

replying to @cjmcginnis @cjmcginnis A5: one long flight beats having a layover. Unless, the layover is planned to be for a couple of days, which I did before.

replying to @travelskills @travelskills A5 One long flight if you’re in a hurry or seated in Business Class. A stopover stretch can be nice especially if that stopover airport is one with good amenities for transiting passengers. #TravelSkills

replying to @travelskills @travelskills A5: Depending on how long the trip is, I would rather stop halfway for a breather and to hopefully see more at the halfway-point. #travelskills

replying to @travelskills @travelskills A5 I don't have a preference. I've never felt too terribly uncomfortable on planes before. But if I had to choose, I'd probably go full flight. If there is a stop for a "breather" anywhere, it'll be a full stop #adventure. Gotta go see the sites! #TravelSkills

replying to @LandLopers @LandLopers A5 I’m happy to break it up on the way, but going home, I’ll tough it out in one leg. #TravelSkills

replying to @travelskills @travelskills A5: A really great question. I would say that if I can stopover and spend a day or 2 in another great location, I would prefer that. Just to sit at an airport halfway, no. Give me the long flight and just get me there #Travelskills

A5 100% prefer non-stop. I also prefer flights 11+ hours so I can eat and get a full 8 hour sleep. Yes, I know that's weird #TravelSkills

A5: If the flight does not cost extra, I would stop halfway, and do a day layover somewhere! However, if it costs extra, I will do the long-haul flight the entire way, and prefer to get to my destination sooner. #TravelSkills

replying to @talkintravelgal @talkintravelgal A5: For those of us who REALLY hate and fear turbulence (me), the idea of 10+ hours in a plane is tough. I had a rough 10 hr flight yrs ago across the Pacific, w turbulence halfway. That was exhausting for me. #TravelSkills

A5: Single long haul is what I prefer. Even just going to Europe, I'd rather fly from the US west coast for a few hours extra rest. The 6-hour crossings from JFK are brutal. #TravelSkills

replying to @travelskills @travelskills A5 I want to get the flight over with so I can enjoy the destination as long as I have entertainment to keep me busy #travelskills

replying to @travelskills @travelskills A5: long haul flight. I'd pay more for a direct flight so I can spent less time in airports and more at my destination. *exception - plan on stopping and staying over in California when flying to Hawaii with my toddler. He'll need time to adjust #TravelSkills

A5: We generally prefer a long flight (getting off and on planes can be a pain) but with kids sometimes it's easier to break up the flight time. #Travelskills
