Q6 What's your experience sleeping on planes? #TravelSkills

ConciergeQ

A6. One really long-haul flight!, please! Although that is rare since I live in Sun Valley, Idaho. even getting to LA can be challenging! #TravelSkills

replying to @Australia @Australia A6 I’m not a great sleeper on planes even in first class. I don’t take any pills so I tend to work. That way when I get to my destination I can enjoy it instead of working in my room. #TravelSkills

replying to @Australia @Australia A6 With a lie-flat business class seat, I can sleep really well #TravelSkills

replying to @Australia @Australia A6 It’s tough for me to sleep sitting up on a plane. I can doze, but I never really get any zzzzs. #TravelSkills

A6: It’s not good. I can only sleep on VERY long flights, 12 hours+. Anything less and I just watch as many movies as I can #travelskills

A6 My experience sleeping on planes? I have more inexperience sleeping on planes, alas. It's possible, but even in business class, sleep is so easily interrupted by turbulence or noise. Have a drink or two, take a "Simply Sleep" pill and good luck. #TravelSkills

A6: We do better with some sort of sleep aid: https://t.co/Cty4dTNXVl #TravelSkills

A6. I need to be able to lay flat in order to get more than a few minutes of sleep on a plane. So unless I am in First Class, I can't really sleep on planes. #TravelSkills @travelskills

replying to @travelskills @travelskills A6 I can sleep almost anywhere. I sleep like a baby on planes. #TravelSkills

replying to @travelskills @travelskills #TravelSkills A6) Do it all the time. Helps to have the lie-flat seat, but even without, I can doze off if in a window seat. Rest your head against the wall and goodnight!

A6 Sleeping on planes? It's all abt making yourself comfortable (and maybe getting some medicinal help). I need blanket, water, head rest, and window seat! #TravelSkills https://t.co/Qs4duHqYv9

A6: I'm pretty lucky that for most flights I sleep easily. However, if you struggle sleeping, I would recommend downloading a @dearestscooter podcast episode before your flight. I literally fell asleep listening to a bedtime story in less than 15 minutes! #TravelSkills

replying to @travelskills @travelskills A6: While it may be difficult to fall (and stay!) asleep on planes, these 9 cozy sleep sets may help you catch some in-flight zzz's! https://t.co/QIVsZmJEmz #travelskills

replying to @travelskills @travelskills A6 It doesn’t matter how awesome your seat is, you will never sleep as well on any plane as you would on the ground. #TravelSkills

sggall12

replying to @travelskills @travelskills A6 sleeping on planes is a pain in 6’2 so always get the end of the plane or at the front at the sides for extra leg room. #TravelSkills

replying to @travelskills @travelskills A6: Ugh! I can never sleep comfortably on planes no matter how long the flight is or how tired I am. #travelskills

A6 I sleep on planes fine when alone but my husband is 6'4 and takes up 1/2 my seat. 😳🙄 #travelskills

Gasmangaz

replying to @travelskills @travelskills A6. Stating the obvious but the flatter and wider the seat the better. J wins hands down, if you’re fortunate enough to get in there. That and Mack silicone ear plugs and Bose noise cancelling headphones. Timing sleep to destination too is best. #TravelSkills

A6: I'm not a great plane sleeper at all, but a lie flat bed always helps - like this one I just had on @tapairportugal from ORD-LIS on their new A330neo. #TravelSkills

A6: hate it generally. If you are on a #shorthaul to EU, set your watch ahead & go to sleep immediately. No dinner, no alcohol, no entertainment. You are only going to wake up in in 4 hours anyway! Same for #businessclass (unless you are feeling indulgent. #TravelSkills

replying to @travelskills @travelskills A6. Have to be honest. I've been in economy class on the way to @Australia and back then it was with @united and it was a great experience🙋

Been in business class on @Finnair fab service & food.

My premium economy experience on @FlySWISS waw not my favorite.

A6: Sorry to say we have never ever slept well on a plane.
But happily the kids seem to sleep fine!
