Q3 What's the best country to visit for a first-timer to Asia? #TravelSkills

I often tell first-timers to Asia to try something fairly western, such as Singapore. Not too noisy, quite orderly. Don't start w/ Cambodia or small towns. Start with #Singapore. If you don't like it, I suggest you keep your Asia exposure to Epcot! A3 #travelskills #Asia

replying to @AllianzTravelUS @AllianzTravelUS A3 Hong Kong is best for first-timers because it’s such a nice, easy mix of east and west. #TravelSkills HK Egg tarts originated in Portugal!

replying to @AllianzTravelUS @AllianzTravelUS A3 #Singapore since it’s so safe, easy to get around and everyone speaks English there. Second would be Hong Kong or Bali. #TravelSkills #TravelHappy

A3: Although chaotic, Thailand is always great but Hong Kong may be an easier transition #travelskills

A3 First time to Asia, Japan is hard to beat. So very foreign, but relatively easy to navigate. #travelskills

A3 With English as the official language and a wide range of recognizable hotel offerings, Singapore is a great place to get your bearings before embarking on a bigger adventure through other parts of Asia. #TravelSkills https://t.co/NrNlbIhNFc

A3. Difficult to answer unless you’ve been to the whole of Asia. But I think Indonesia is a great way to ease in. Religious + cultural diversity and some western comforts that might be good for the less adventurous (i.e. Bali). https://t.co/o2kaKPedwe #TravelSkills

replying to @travelskills @travelskills A3: Hong Kong. It’s a distinctively Asian place with an international environment so the “culture shock” curve isn’t as extreme for first time visitors. #travelskills

A3 #TravelSkills I’d suggest a place like Singapore or Hong Kong where there is much to see & is easy to get around. To me, places like China or Vietnam are more advanced trip where you should have some good skills & know what you’re up against.

A3: Japan is a great country to explore. It’s closer to the US, so flight times are shorter than to other parts of Asia. So much to see and do - and eat! Like cheeseburger sushi. American Comfort food! #travelskills #foodiefriday @AllianzTravelUS @cjmcginnis https://t.co/lLxnRoXIhw
