Q5 What are your must-see landmarks in Asia? Which ones should travelers skip? #TravelSkills

#Vietnam is fascinating. I grew up in the US and was almost old enough for the draft during the Vietnam War. I wondered how I'd be greeted in Hanoi but everyone was welcoming. 'We want visitors & foreign money; we don't care where you're from," one man said. A5 #travelskills

replying to @AllianzTravelUS @AllianzTravelUS A5 Taj Mahal, Grand Palace and Angkor Wat are musts. I haven’t been to the Great Wall of China but everyone says it’s too touristy. #TravelSkills #TravelHappy

replying to @AllianzTravelUS @AllianzTravelUS A5 Since I’m an #avgeek, airports are important landmarks to me, and I LOVE Singapore Changi, Hong Kong, Seoul Incheon… #TravelSkills

A5 The must see list is infinitely long: the Great Wall, the Forbidden City and hutongs of Beijing, Tokyo, the temples of Taipei, Angkor Wat, Hue, Shanghai skyline, Saigon. #travelskills

A5: Great Wall of China, Angkor Wat, all of Luang Prabang in Laos, temples of Bagan, etc. #travelskills

A5 I look forward to seeing the enormous new Beijing Daxing airport opening this fall. SCMP calls it "alien starfish!" #TravelSkills

A5. Unpopular opinion: I think you can skip the Taj Mahal.
Instead, go to Jantar Mantar in Jaipur which is truly unusual, beautiful and also a UNESCO site. https://t.co/Gn3z1ANoey #TravelSkills

A5: For Asia, I would say going to the Great Wall of China is amazing! If you are backpacking Asia, I would skip some temples just because there are so many and after awhile you get templed out. #TravelSkills

replying to @AllianzTravelUS @AllianzTravelUS A5: I’m trying to hit all of the 7 modern world wonders, so I’d definitely have to do the Great Wall and Taj Mahal #TravelSkills

A5 Must-see landmark is definitely Angkor Wat in Cambodia (southeast Asia). There are so many amazing temples to see #TravelSkills

replying to @travelskills @travelskills A5: Specifically regarding Hong Kong. definitely see Victoria Peak but skip the tram. A taxi ride will cost no more than HKD$70 and you won’t have to waste 3 hours in line in humid urban tropical purgatory. #Travelskills

A5: Angkor Wat in #Cambodia is my fave. I visited in 2002 and had sunrise to myself, which I hear is very different now! #travelskills

replying to @JohnnyJet @JohnnyJet A5: Does street food count as a landmark? We love discovering the amazing food that's throughout Asia. #TravelSkills

A5 #TravelSkills I like high places, so the Marina Bay Sands, Singapore & Petronas Twin Towers in Malaysia. Also the Big Buddha in Hong Kong and of course Halong Bay in Vietnam.

A5 After seeing this photo from some StopJetLag travelers, I'd have to go with the Great Wall of China. #TravelSkills

A5: must see landmarks? The Great Wall of course! And the Forbidden City. With a name like that who wouldn’t be curious haha #travelskills
