Q7 Which Asian countries are best for saving money? Best for a splurge? #TravelSkills #TravelHappy

You can live like royalty in southeast Asia for the cost of a dump in some N. American cities. I check now and then, and you can find fab, 4 or 5-star hotels in cities like Bangkok or Hanoi for $200 USD or less. Same place in Boston or SF would be $600. A7 #TravelSkills

A7. We think Thailand is perfect for saving money. In fact we have a guide for backpacking it - https://t.co/3slqCVeuFp. For luxury, we immediately think, Hong Kong #TravelSkills

replying to @AllianzTravelUS @AllianzTravelUS A7 You can get a good deal in most of the countries in Asia. My favorite is Thailand. To splurge, I would say go to Hong Kong or #Japan. #TravelSkills #TravelHappy

A7 Save money in Vietnam and Cambodia, especially on food, which is usually excellent. Street food is a good idea, but make sure you pick the crowded stalls. #travelskills

A7: SE Asia in particular is a great region to save a lot of money - extremely affordable. If you want to spend money, you can do that almost anywhere but especially Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo, etc. #travelskills

replying to @AllianzTravelUS @AllianzTravelUS A7 For a splurge, I’d book a long weekend at the newly refurbed Raffles hotel in Singapore (@RafflesHotelSIN)—and live like Crazy Rich Asians! #TravelSkills https://t.co/GsrUnVZB42

A7: To save money, try Vietnam. It made our list of the countries where the U.S. dollar goes a long way this year: https://t.co/DOq9GE0BSC #TravelSkills

A7: Southeast Asia is pretty cheap and almost everyone speaks English! I would do Thailand, Cambodia, or Vietnam to start. To splurge, I still need to check out Japan and South Korea! #TravelSkills

A7 Southeast Asia (almost all) are great for budget travel! You can live like a Queen for relatively little. Japan tho is tough on the wallet #TravelSkills

replying to @JohnnyJet @JohnnyJet A7 Vietnam is probably the best bang for the buck I can recall. Thailand is still cheap with some exceptions. China outside of the big cities is very affordable. Korea, Japan & HK are very expensive. Taipei is in the middle. #TravelSkills

A7 #TravelSkills Back to Vietnam. I found 4 & 5 star hotels for $100/night. 5 shirts for $50. Cheap place to visit.
