A5 #TravelSkills I like high places, so the Marina Bay Sands, Singapore & Petronas Twin Towers in Malaysia. Also the Big Buddha in Hong Kong and of course Halong Bay in Vietnam.

A6 #TravelSkills I had a good experience with Turkish. Nice comfortable seats. Vietnam Air was a well run carrier. I used them for point to point travel in the country.

You can live like royalty in southeast Asia for the cost of a dump in some N. American cities. I check now and then, and you can find fab, 4 or 5-star hotels in cities like Bangkok or Hanoi for $200 USD or less. Same place in Boston or SF would be $600. A7 #TravelSkills

A7: SE Asia in particular is a great region to save a lot of money - extremely affordable. If you want to spend money, you can do that almost anywhere but especially Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo, etc. #travelskills
