A3 Adapt to your new schedule as soon as you get to your location. Change your watch while in flight. And drink lots of water. Always a good cure. #travelskills

A3: It’s important to stay active and be in direct sunlight that first day. Getting on the local schedule as fast as possible is key #travelskills

replying to @JohnnyJet @JohnnyJet A3 As soon as we land we try and set our body clock to that of the destination. So if we land and it's nighttime we would go to bed, if its early morning we would ride the day out #TravelSkills

A3: I beat jet lag with a nap after an overnight flight, then go out to dinner on local time.

- Change your watch to local time when you get on the plane.
- Start behaving as if you’re on that time asap, meals to sleep
- Go to bed as close to when locals do.

A3: Set your clock to destination time. If you’re flying in business class, get as much sleep as you can in that comfy seat if you need to hit the ground running once you land. Melatonin and sleepy teas can help. So do eyeshades and earplugs. #travelskills https://t.co/44XpPyFt3M

A3 I cope with jetlag by building it into my schedule. I make sure to ask for flights that are easy on the body, fly a day early. Basically my answer to the last question :) #TravelSkills

A3: Flying business class (or better) does help with jetlag. But I also start adjusting my body by an hour or two each day leading up to my trip. For one/two-night trips, I try to stay on my home time. #TravelSkills

Heck, I get jet lag at home! I don't cope well with it, but trying to adjust to time zone changes can help. I had some help on Wednesday with an upgrade to biz class on #SouthAfricanAirways. A couple glasses of SA Pinotage didn’t hurt! A3 #travelskills @flysaa @flysaa_care

A3: I normally don't travel long on business, but if I just power through the first day and get to bed at a reasonable time, I'm always good on day 2. #TravelSkills

A3: 1) sleep according to destination time 1-2 days in advance if possible 2) take no jet lag tablets upon boarding and every 2 hours 3) force myself to stay up till 7:30 day 1 4) no naps 5) melatonin or ambien to help with adjusting first few days #travelskills #traveltips

A3. Jetlag is tough. For shorter trips stay on time zone & do things at weird hours or get on a different time zone ASAP by taking short nap, force yourself to wake up and drink a ton of water, have a coffee and walk around outside, have dinner and go to bed. #TravelSkills
