A6: Business travel can be great for family life. Going away makes you miss them even more, and hopefully they miss you too! Just take that earliest non-stop flight home, talk as often as you can, and make sure they know how much you love them! #TravelSkills

A6 the new term is Bleisure Travel and it’s huge. Surveys shows that bleisure travelers are more satisfied with their quality of life and their work-life balance. You can plan your work for early AM and have the rest of the day for family and fun. #travelskills

A6: It’s really hard. Try not to travel too frequently or for too long, and bring your significant other along when you can #travelskills

A6 I like to organize a special weekend or dinner before a business trip so I depart filled with love and peace. It's a good idea to plan on for the return too! #TravelSkills

replying to @travelskills @travelskills A6. As a travel writer, when the kids were little, I just brought them with me. Now that they are older I try not to be gone back-to-back trips or block a large amount of time at home like this fall to help with college applications #travelskills

replying to @cjmcginnis @cjmcginnis A6: It's always nice to have the kids come along for the trip. These 10 cities offer amazing (and affordable!) kid-friendly museums, so if you're heading to one (or more) of them soon, consider bringing the kids! https://t.co/egBwNGVgDp #TravelSkills

A6: Haha you know you are "adulting" when you plan trips around conferences, family time, and weddings. I live in NYC and my family lives in LA, so I plan to go to more conferences on the west coast, and also visit my family at the same time. #TravelSkills

A6: Balancing work and family life is never easy. FaceTime makes it easier. I try to take early-morning flights out and red-eyes home to minimize the time away. #TravelSkills

A6 As my kids have gotten older, bringing them w/me on a couple of quick short work trips has become easier! My first trip w/my oldest was to #Seattle -- his pick, great memories & a successful business trip! #Travelzoo #TravelSkills

A6 I became a #travel industry professional the year my eldest was born, now I have 3 kids (ages 4-14) and the trick to balancing work & personal has been instilling a love for travel in them & bringing them w/me whenever possible! #TravelSkills
