replying to @GlobeTrotScott @GlobeTrotScott Always stay prepared! That's a great tip, @GlobeTrotScott. #TravelSkills

A6 If your entire wardrobe fits in a carry-on then luggage can become your closet wherever you go. #TravelSkills

replying to @JohnnyJet @JohnnyJet A7: stick with one color pallet. I like black for most European travel. Add touches of one color: red walking shoes, scarf, for men a tie ,pocket square, bright socks.interchangeable pieces and maybe a dress for a special dinner. Use easycare fabrics! #TravelSkills @JohnnyJet

replying to @JohnnyJet @JohnnyJet @TripActions I almost ALWAYS travel with a checked bag. Can't seem to pare myself down to a carry-on when I've got electronics gear, camera, laptop, chargers, back-up batteries, and then clothes to worry about. Let alone umbrellas, jackets, shoes, a ball cap …. #travelskills #lousypacker

replying to @travelskills @travelskills A5. Price is a major factor to ensure I stay within my means. Experience is high on my list as well. I am brand loyal but if the quality does not meet my expectations then I will book elsewhere. #travelskills #loyalty

A8: Cost savings is ultimately about flexibility. If you can change your flight time, take a connection, or stay a little farther away you have more choice and can save.
If you can't, you're a price taker. At least we have rebates through loyalty programs though! #TravelSkills

A7. Packing tips? Keep a bag packed all the time with toiletries and tech gear (chargers, etc.). Also, don't accidentally pack the cat. #travelskills #oddballcat

replying to @TripActions @TripActions TIP Always price out renting a car vs. using limos/rideshare/public trans. Sometimes one is far less expensive than the other. #TravelSkills

A8 Suppliers will give you a better rate if you bundle them all together. Book as far out as you can and always on a Tuesday. Rates go down on Tuesday and then back up over the weekend when most people are shopping. #travelskills

replying to @TripActions @TripActions A8 When it comes to car rentals, I think it’s a good idea to pay more for a full-service experience, especially if their pick up location is onsite at the airport. #TravelSkills

A8: I save money for business trips by making sure I know what is and is not covered. For the things not covered I then maximize my credit cards accordingly to get the maximum amount of points. #TravelSkills
