Q5 Best way to get around New York City? #TravelSkills

cjmcginnis

replying to @united @united A5 Walking is best, but for long distances, rely on the subway to avoid awful surface traffic. It’s easy once you get the hang of it! #TravelSkills

replying to @united @united A5 Depends where you’re going but generally the subway is best. Love it. Sometimes a train, taxi, bus, rideshare or my fave a @Blacklane car to/from the airport. #TravelSkills

A5. Best way to get around NYC? On the water. City is so different from the outside. Also, the subway, especially, when it’s above ground, so you can see what the landscape is like. #TravelSkills

replying to @travelskills @travelskills A5: Subway, walk. Run if it's Sunday morning early. #travelskills

A5. By walking it is always my # 1 - you just miss things when you're in the subway or in a car. It requires good walking shoes because Manhattan & the boroughs aren't small. My 2nd fav is by boat. I ❤️ taking the free Staten Island ferry, great views of the city! #TravelSkills

replying to @united @united A5 Did you know you can now just “tap” your Visa card on subway turnstiles to pay your one-way fare? Easy peasy! Details from @VisaNews: https://t.co/Mx7tzuM5Za @ioWAndy #TravelSkills

A5 Subway or on foot is your best bet! The ferry is also a great way to take in views of the city and popular tourist attractions. The Staten Island Ferry offers stunning views of Lower Manhattan, the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island and the Brooklyn Bridge. #TravelSkills

replying to @JohnnyJet @JohnnyJet A5 At least within Manhattan it is a combination of walking and riding the subway. #TravelSkills

A5: Walking or jetpack is the best way to get around #NYC. Hope for jetpack availability soon. #TravelSkills

replying to @travelskills @travelskills A5 Walking for getting to places within reasonable distances. Subway for farther destinations. Unless it’s 7am Sunday morning stay away from cars if at all possible. #travelskills

A5 Subway is still the fastest, cheapest way to get around NYC. Pro Tip: There are local (black) and express (white) stops/trains #TravelSkills

A5: Strap on a good pair of shoes and get out and walk! Or the subway of course!v #travelskills

A5 I’m going to say subway line 1 (as it’s the only one I’ve ever rode!) Hits Central Park, Broadway, Times Square, Penn Station, Greenwich Village, all the way downtown. #TravelSkills

A5. Whatever you need to do to avoid traffic--walk or take the subway. #TravelSkills

A5: Subway. Easiest, fastest & cheapest way to get around. And when the MTA is having a hiccup - wall. #travelskills #nyc https://t.co/K2qwPfheSb
