A7: The @UnionSquareNY Holiday Market combines their green market with their Christmas market and do some early Christmas shopping at the Holiday Shops at @BryantParkNYC. As always, be prepared for the crowds! It is #NewYork after all! #TravelSkills @nycgo_press

replying to @united @united TIP Every January, several NYC hotels band together to offer rock-bottom deals during Hotel Week NYC. Details here: https://t.co/uDH8VtgdH0 #TravelSkills @NJFPR

What's the best time of year to be in New York City? I’d say winter. They have great bargains like NYC Restaurant Week and NYC Broadway Week for fab prices. A8 #TravelSkills

A8 We lived in #NYC for about a year & a half and saw all 4 seasons, from the muggy heat of August to the blustery blizzards of February! Best weather -- during the fall months (esp Sep/Oct when temps are in the upper 60s and 70s)! #TravelSkills

A8 Best time to visit #NYC for deal-hunters? From January (right after New Year's) thru mid-February. It's cold! But #hotels rates tumble 50% or more! #TravelSkills

A8 NYC is best in the fall and holidays. Otherwise it's too hot or cold. Yes, I'm like Goldilocks #TravelSkills

replying to @travelskills @travelskills A8: October and early November. It’s off the high summer tourist season and the weather is far more tolerable. #travelskills

replying to @cjmcginnis @cjmcginnis A6: None. But it's generally going to be JFK or EWR, as I'm flying from LHR on @British_Airways #travelskills #oneworldemerald.

RT @travelskills: Q4 Best things to do in New York City besides the obvious tourist attractions? #TravelSkills https://t.co/ihVSZ8g46i

replying to @cjmcginnis @cjmcginnis @united A7: Rockefeller center rink is tiny. Try Bryant Park, especially at sunset. Take a lock for the lockers and 2 pairs of thick socks because the plastic rental skates can be quite uncomfortable. And DO NOT ever skate suddenly across someone’s path! Rude and dangerous #Travelskills

A8. Spring and Fall - less tourists than winter or summer, and the city just looks gorgeous in both seasons! #TravelSkills

replying to @united @united A8 New York City is busy and expensive in early to mid December (shopping!) while nearly everywhere else is super cheap “dead weeks.” #TravelSkills
