A5. Best tip to save money on cruises: don't sign up for excursions. Go to town & walk around. Talk to locals to find good places to eat (less expensive than tourist trips). Take a cab to an excursion location and enjoy just relaxing & taking it all in. #TravelSkills

6 months ago I would have said I prefered "port calls" over days at sea. Then @cruisebusiness and I did a magical three week cruise around South Africa and up the west coast of the continent. A6. When it comes to cruising, I prefer lots of port calls. Not a fan of long days at sea. I'm sure on more luxurious cruises it doesn't matter if you have 2-3 days in a row without land in sight. But then you have to dress up more, which means pack more clothes. #TravelSkills
