A4 Cape Town, the metropolis at the foot of the grandiose Table Mountain is one of the sexiest towns on earth. The cultural mix and laid-back lifestyle make the town a hot spot for literally everybody who loves travelling. #travelskills #SouthAfrica

replying to @nataliediscala @nataliediscala @cjmcginnis @JimByersTravel @JohnnyJet That's a great idea! We'll be in Toronto for Christmas and then Costa Rica for New Years. I can handle that #TravelSkills

replying to @nataliediscala @nataliediscala @cjmcginnis @JohnnyJet That sounds like a great plan, Natalie. Hope the snow sticks around until Christmas. It can melt after that and I won't be unhappy! #travelskills

replying to @united @united A5 Book your tours in advance since you don’t want to travel all that way and be told that the one you want is sold out. #TravelSkills

A5: Use a travel agent to help you plan; it will make life so much easier. Fly into Johannesburg, take a night or two at a nice resort to recover, then dive deep into safaris. Finish with time in Cape Town and the gorgeous wine country around Franschhoek. #TravelSkills

replying to @united @united A5 Consider taking a helicopter tour of the Cape Town region if you can. It’s not too expensive and so worth the views! Esp at Africa’s southernmost points. #TravelSkills

A5 The wildlife, safaris and adventures are amazing, but be sure to also go to Stellenbosch for relaxation and wine tasting. #travelskills

A5: You can’t do it all so don’t try. Instead focus on a couple of different regions or experiences and enjoy them as much as possible #travelskills

A5 Save some extra room in your suitcase for souvenirs! South Africa is full of exquisite wine regions, craft markets and galleries. #TravelSkills

A5: Travel insurance is a good idea, especially if you're putting down a lot of money and/or you'll be on safari in more remote parts of the country. Here's a primer: https://t.co/tY3pDiyUCA #TravelSkills

replying to @Heather_Poole A2. On a red eye flight we had a medical emergency so we diverted to a tiny airport. Somehow we ended up perpendicular on the runway with a wheel stuck in the mud. Looking out the window & seeing you're stuck on a runway like that is a little strange and scary. #TravelSkills

A5 Travel to #SouthAfrica with an open mind and you are surely going to have the very best time #TravelSkills

A5 - Don't rush and try to do everything on one day. In Cape Town alone there is so much to do and explore, so spend at least 4-5 days. Tons of culture, history, nature and just taking in the local vibe. It's a very complex city #travelskills
