Q2: Is there a hotel or AirBNB near you that uniquely reflects the area or culture? #WeekendWanderlust

#WeekendWanderlust A2: Not too far from our DFW basecamp is the Fredricksburg Herb Farm, a B&B and Spa that has “Sunday Houses” – basically, tiny homes modeled after the houses farmers built in town to stay in when they came for church on Sundays. #travel

A2: Airbnb is strictly regulated in Japan, so I haven't gotten to explore them yet. There are all sorts of ryokan (traditional Japanese hotels) that offer meals along with sleeping on futons in rooms with tatami mats. #WeekendWanderlust

replying to @WWTravelChat @WWTravelChat A2) I really liked the Walnut Street Inn in main portion of Bloomington, Indiana and adjacent to downtown. It is designed to look like a flat and very spacey with themed rooms such as “Walnut Room,” “Oak room.” #WeekendWanderlust

A2: The Pyramid in Memphis has been transformed into a Bass Pro Shops, scenic overlook of downtown and a hotel! #WeekendWanderlust

replying to @TravelLatte @TravelLatte A2: I live near (and was raised in) Amish Country. There are many cabin rentals, hotels, and even a few treehouses, but they all have electricity so they don't really reflect the culture. 😂😬😬 #WeekendWanderlust
