WeekendWanderlust

Q9: Do you stay in non-traditional accommodation regularly? i.e. couchsurfing, van, etc. Why or why not? @wildheartedblog #WeekendWanderlust

#WeekendWanderlust A9: It’s funny, we’ll stay in a converted RV (hello Shady Dell in Bisbee!) but we don’t couchsurf or live the #vanlife. #travel

A9: We have stayed in a tent and an awesome wooden lodge in Iceland! #WeekendWanderlust

A9: sure don’t (yet anyway!). I like my creature comforts and the occasional luxuries when we travel. #WeekendWanderlust

A9: I’ve made non-traditional accommodations a yearly tradition lol - I go tent camping on the #Michigan coast every summer and it is a heavenly digital detox (plus some of the most underrated beaches are there to hike to!) 🏕💚 #WeekendWanderlust #PureMichigan #Camping

A9: When I was younger I've stay with friends when I traveled, but haven't couchsurfed in any meaningful way. I think that's a habit that works better for people who are traveling by themselves. #WeekendWanderlust

A9) We often do not stay in in non-traditional lodgings, as we tend to use our hotel #points for stays. We get some great value out of them. We do occasionally stay in an AirBnB for location and fun like we did on our trip to #Utah to visit all 5 #nationalparks #WeekendWanderlust

replying to @WWTravelChat @WWTravelChat @wildheartedblog A9: The only non-traditional accommodation that I,she stayed in was tents for camping in Namibia. It was the best way to see the night starry skies! #weekendwanderlust
