replying to @TravelLatte @TravelLatte A2: I live near (and was raised in) Amish Country. There are many cabin rentals, hotels, and even a few treehouses, but they all have electricity so they don't really reflect the culture. 😂😬😬 #WeekendWanderlust

#WeekendWanderlust A1. It's difficult to say which is the most unique. I've stayed in a few interesting places. This is a picture of an old Madrassa in Khiva. The students cells have been turned into hotel rooms.

#WeekendWanderlust A4: We always keep an eye out for unique accommodations. If we happen to go somewhere and we know about someplace unique to stay, we’ll try to do that. But we don’t typically go searching for strange places to stay when we decide on a destination. #travel

replying to @StuartMHurlbut @TravelLatte #WeekendWanderlust It's actually an interesting city without many tourists. It has 3 Kratons (Palaces), it's own unique culture, dance and Batik and was the centre of a medieval kingdom. I went shopping yesterday for local batik.

A4: If there is something truly unique about a destination, then yes! For example, an igloo in the Arctic would be pretty amazing! But maybe a little chilly! 🥶 #WeekendWanderlust
